Review - Rimmel Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses

Whilst out and about shopping, I ended up browsing in Superdrug and I stumbled upon the Rimmel '1000 Kisses Lip Tint'. Now, before this I have never used a lip tint, as I always seem to reach for a lip stick, however when I did try out this product, I was surprised. There are a variety of shades within this collection, but the shade I picked up was 120 Timeless Tango, quite a bold pink colour, with hints of orangey red.

When you open the lid, you'll notice the beautiful scent these have, something of a fruity and sweet scent, which is really nice. I find that the lip tints are quite pigmented due, which helps build the colour, however, due to this I see them more of a lip stain than a lip tint.

The way the product is applied is very different from a lipstick, a kind of pen that you apply to your lips, creating the outline of your lips first, then colour the rest in, then applying the moisture balm to lock in the vibrant colour. To add moisture and a shine to your lips, I would suggest you wait for the colour to completely dry before applying the balm, as this helps lock in the colour better.

The pen applicator is great for precise, clean application, however, I would definitely advise having a mirror handy, without one it can get messy and lips can get smudged! Although this does seem like quite a laborious task to carry out, just to add some colour and moisture to your lips. They are very easy to apply, and feel comfortable on the lips and don't dry them out, which is good. The only downside I have found is that they aren't that long lasting, without the need to re-apply some more of the colour.
