Catwalk - "A narrow walkway extending into an auditorium, esp. in an industrial installation, along which models walk to display clothes in fashion."
Celeb - "A famous person."

I have chosen to include 2 topics in this post today as I think they have such a good link together, and would be something that could be spoken about in some detail. Catwalks and Celebs are important in fashion in such a variety of aspects from sharing the latest trends, showing us what's new, influencing our own style choices/ideas and as well as being role models and style icons.

The concept of a catwalk is to share and promote a designers collection of clothing, shoes and accessories during a fashion show or at fashion week. Fashion week catwalks, including London, Paris, Milan and New York are arranged to showcase the latest trends and designs, that influence fashion, whether it be a Spring/Summer collection or one for Autumn/Winter.

In fashion, Celebs are what a majority of the public are inspired and influenced by, when making their own style choices and options. Many celebs are becoming peoples role models or style icons, and are getting inspiration from what they are seen wearing in magazines, papers, on TV or through social media, and developing this for their own style.

I previously posted about my own style icons on my blog, way back in March, including
Rita OraPerrie EdwardsMillie MackintoshPixie Lott and Ellie Goulding. So you can go and have a peak and find out why I am influenced by them and also have a look at an inspired outfit by them.

Who are your celeb role models/style icons? Are you influenced from what celebs are wearing? How are you inspired in fashion?
