So, this isn’t exactly the outfit or makeup look that I promised Laura (oops!), but like a lot of other bloggers out there, I’m struggling with the lack of sunlight at the moment. Instead, I’m giving you a sneak peek into my everyday makeup bag!

I usually stick to the same basic products, regardless of where I’m going or what season it is – I’ll just use my darker eye shades and a different lipstick to glam it up. If I buy a new product, it generally means that another product gets relegated to the vanity case of sad, pre-loved makeup!

I’m currently using Benefit’s Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer, which is great, although I’m still not sure of the most effective way to use it – suggestions are always welcome!

I absolutely HATE shopping for foundation, which might be one of the reasons that I’m still using the same foundation I got into when I was about 14! That and this Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse is faultless for me. I use the Fawn shade and find that I can get away with it for my pale winter face and also when I have a tan in the summer, and it’s a lot less hassle than liquid foundation when I’m slapping it on while still half asleep.

This Seventeen Phwoarr Paint is a new addition to my every day makeup, hiding my horrendously dark eyes. I’ve discovered that it works best putting it on after my foundation, but before my Maybelline Fit Me Powder.

I’ve had a lot of bronzers that are too heavy, so I love that I can apply this Natural Collection Bronzer in stages, building it up gradually depending on how dark I want it. I don’t use a lot during the day, but it helps to keep me looking healthy and then if I’m going out, I put more on under my cheekbones to try and convince people that I do actually have cheekbones!

This GOSH Eyebrow Kit has somehow become an every day essential instead of occasional wear. How I’ve not used wax to tame my unruly brows before, I don’t know!

Although I love spending time doing my eye shadow with different shades and blending them together, this Maybelline Color (Colour!) Tattoo in On and On Bronze is such a great time saver and is perfect for anybody who, like me, rubs and wipes their eyes constantly all day!

I quite often blend some of the Busted shade from Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Palette into the crease of my eyelid and because my eyes are usually too sensitive for most eyeliners, I use Blackout on the lash line as an alternative. I finish my eye makeup with Soap & Glory’s Thick & Fast Mascara and then I’m ready to go!

I’d love to see what products you use every day! Are there any that I’ve mentioned that you use daily too?

Thank you Laura for letting me feature on your gorgeous blog!
