L'Oréal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Creation Double Hair Serum

When Boots had there lovely 3 for 2 deal on a while ago, I needed a third product to pick up and didn't really know what I wanted, so this was a bit of a random purchase. With the release of the Fibrology range from L'Oréal, a range of products that claim to help thicken hair due to it's Filloxane technology. The Double serum ended up in my bag to test out and see what it was all about.

"A breakthrough in the science of hair, L'Oréal Laboratories have created L'Oréal Elvive Fibrology Thickness Creation Double Creation, proven to give long-lasting thickness wash after wash. Hair looks & feels thicker, with body & bounce."

Even as a lover of haircare products, I've never used hair serums before, so this was all new to me. The Double Serum is made up of two properties, a thickening serum which penetrates  and thickens the hair fibre and a perfecting serum which helps to smooth out the surface of the hair. When pressing the pump at the top of the bottle, these serums dispense together and then I apply them to the lengths of my hair, avoiding the roots, once towel dry.

I've been using this serum for a good few months now, and even though it started off quite slowly, I definitely have seen a difference in the thickness and feel of my hair, and I am genuinely pleased with the results I have seen. My hair feels much thicker and smoother, and just feels in such better condition, those with long hair will feel my pain with how hard it is to make sure your hair is always looking good!

As this is the only product I have tried from the range, I can't comment on how my hair would be if I combined all the products from the range to see how my hair would be like after use, but I am very happy with the serum, so I would definitely try out some of the other products in the Fibrology range.

Have you tried the L'Oréal Double Serum?
