Fridays Fashion Favourites | Cardigans

Hey my lovelies! Today, being Friday, with the weather being rather grey and miserable, like typical England, I wanted to make a post of my Fashion Favourites this week revolving around cardigans. With spring on its way, hopefully we can ditch the huge warm coats, scarves, gloves and hats, and just finish off our outfits with just a cardigan, to keep warm if the weather isn't to great. My sorts of cardigans I go for at this time of year are either just plain lovely coloured or printed, which is something that is very on trend. I have been browsing online, to find for you 4 cardigans that I really love and think would be gorgeous for this time of year! So without further ado, let's get on to it...
Fashion Cardigans
1. New Look Plum Space Dye Drop Pocket Cardigan (£14.99)
"Deep reds are perfect for the Autumn, so get your wardrobe knitted out with this space dye cardigan. Featuring dropped pocket detail and open front, this is an easy piece to wear with all your favourite casual looks."

I absolutely love the deep red/plum/burgundy colour, and yes I'm aware it's more of a autumn or winter colour, however I thought this cardigan was just so lovely. I really like the speckled fabric, and that it looks quite fitted and think its just such a casual piece of clothing that you can throw on over any outfit and will still look amazing. Another thing I liked about it was that it doesn't have buttons and you just wear open, making it much more of a spring/summer piece, which you can just wear if the weathers not too great, or its slightly chilly. The price, £14.99, is a pretty decent, affordable price for such a nice cardigan and it doesn't break the bank, which is definitely a plus!

2. Topshop Knitted Two Tone Bobble Cardi (£40.00)
"Knitted all-over tow tone bobble stitch slouchy chuck on cardi in pale"

The first thing that drew me towards this cardigan was definitely the colour, a gorgeous pale pastel baby blue colour with hints of white, giving it a two tone effect, that is just screaming spring/summer to me! Like the previous cardigan, it is an open design, with no buttons, that will allow you to put it on easily and I think it will look so cute with the right outfit. I would say this is quite a slightly oversized cardigan, with that slight "boyfriend fit" style, that is very on trend atm.  For £40, it may seem  quite expensive to some people, but this is Topshop we're talking about, you pay for what you get, and this does seem like such a beautiful, comfy cardigan!

3. Asda Aztec Knit Cardigan (£16)
"Aztec design long sleeved knitted cardigan with contrast edges."

At the moment, I am really loving Aztec print, and when I saw this cardigan, I knew I had to include it in my favourites for this week. This cardigan has a really lovely detailed pattern design that uses contrast colours that fit in to the monochrome trend we are seeing everywhere in the fashion world. I would definitely just throw this on just on top of a simple tee and jeans/leggings combo, to give the outfit that little boost and definitely make a statement with such a gorgeous print design. With the majority of the cardigan using greys and blacks, the gorgeous creamy white trim just gives it that boost of colour, that really made it stand out for me, and for only £16, you can't really go wrong!

4. River Island Coral Loose Knit Unfastened Cardigan
"Just because it's winter, that doesn't mean your wardrobe doesn't need some pop tones! In bright peachy coral with unfastened design, this loose knit cardigan will bring some sunshine back to your winter warmers."

Finally is this gorgeous loose knit cardigan from River Island, that I found within the sale section of there website. This is a beautiful peachy coral orange colour, slightly pastel like, literally just made me think of summer! Most chunky cardigans are associated with winter, however this one will just add the touch of vibrancy and boldness to any spring/summer outfit! This cardigan would be perfect for anyone wanting to make a bold statement with there fashion tastes this time of the year or who is brave enough to add a pop of colour to there wardrobe, and for only £20, this is such a bargain to be had!

Which is your favourite cardigan? How would you style them?
