Women's perfumes and fragrances are the ideal gifts for anytime of the year, but especially Christmas. I know I've always got at least one or two on my list to add to my ever-growing collection. From YSL to Ghost to Primark, I've built quite the collection with a range of scents, there is always the perfect perfume for any occasion. But as always, I have perfumes on my Wishlist, and Christmas is the perfect time to get some new ones.

So here's the 6 women's perfumes on my Christmas Wishlist this year!

Women's Perfumes

1. Ariana Grande - Cloud
"This addictive scent opens with a dreamy blend of alluring lavender blossom, forbidden juicy pear and mouth-watering bergamot. The heart of the fragrance is a whipped touch of crème de coconut, indulgent praline and exotic, vanilla orchid. Sensual musks and creamy woods add a cashmere like feel that seduces the senses."

I've been a huge fan of Ariana's perfume range. I've previously worn both ARI and Sweet Like Candy, and for celebrity perfumes, they are absolutely lovely and super affordable. This perfume would be perfect for everyday use, the scents itself are so fresh and fruity, it would be a stand out fragrance in your collection.

2. YSL - Black Opium Intense
"Blue absinthe, flavoured with wormwood, and aromatic herbs combines with anis and sweet blue boysenberry; jasmine sambac absolute fuses with orange blossom absolute, making up the sensual heart of the fragrance. At the base, the sultry coffee note that underpins the Black Opium iconic olfactory signature is accompanied by licorice, sandalwood and creamy vanilla for a deliberately daring, ultra-feminine scent."

The original Black Opium perfume from YSL is my absolute all time favourite. It's my go-to signature scent. I just can't get enough! But when I noticed there was a newer, more intense version of this, I knew it had to be mine. YSL fragrances never disappoint. They are so long-lasting, they make you smell incredible and they'll have you getting compliments all day long!

Women's Perfumes

3. Thierry Mugler - Alien
"Distinctive and mysterious, yet comforting and soft, Alien by MUGLER conveys passion sensuality and the essence of absolute femininity. Alien Perfume is a rich floral woody amber fragrance containing jasmine sambac, cashmeran wood and white amber it is a fragrance whose magic trails awakens your emotions. A scent like no other it is irresistibly appealing and totally out of this world..."

I've purchased Alien previously, so I have included this as this is such a great perfume for anyone, regardless of age. It's unlike any perfume that I've tried before. It has a very strong, deep scent, slightly musky and mysterious, that really lingers on the skin all day long. No need for top ups!

4. Hugo Boss - The Scent for Her
"Inspired by a journey of powerful seduction, 'Boss The Scent' for her exudes a sublime feminine elegance, warmth and seductiveness that unfolds gradually over time drawing the BOSS woman and the BOSS man closer."

Another perfume that I've worn previously but have now ran out of. The Scent by Hugo Boss is very light and fresh, with a sweet floral fragrance. It's a perfect perfume to take from day to night. So sophisticated yet delicate, it's definitely one to add to your collection.

Women's Perfumes

5. Gucci - Bamboo
"Gucci Bamboo perfume for her by Gucci encourages confidence and strength. A woody, floral women’s perfume that is beautifully feminine and natural. Warming woody notes flow through the women’s fragrance; deep sandalwood and amber combined with sweet Tahitian vanilla. A complementary contrast of exotic floral notes balances the perfume with soft undertones of Casablanca lily, orange blossom and ylang-ylang."

One brand that I'm yet to venture towards when it comes to perfumes is Gucci. I've added this one to my Wishlist not only to test the Gucci scent, but also because it's more of a sweet floral scent that I don't really have in my collection.

6. Giorgio Armani - Si
"Chic, sultry, intense and soft at the same time, Sì is a chypre scent reinvented, lingering on the skin and captivating the senses. It combines an inflection of three accords: blackcurrant nectar, modern chypre and light musky wood."

Again, Giorgio Armani is another brand that I haven't come across yet in terms of perfumes, but I've heard so many good reviews and recommendations of theirs, that I know I need to give it a try. The classic perfume 'Si' seems to be a firm favourite from the Armani fragrance line and is one that I would really love to try. The mixture of notes that are combined within the perfume sound absolutely lovely. Fruity and musky sounds like the perfect combination, and I know that I'll need to purchase this one soon!

If you saw my last Primark perfume review which was Primark PS Love Noir, you will know that I was super impressed with that fragrance. It had become my everyday perfume and also my handbag staple. But recently whilst I was in-store, I came across a brand new, limited edition scent that I knew I had to get my hands on - the PS Love Rose Gold Perfume.

"This intimate sensual scent is a powdery floral blend of tender jasmine and raspberry blossom on a bed of pink hyacinth."

Primark PS Love Rose Gold Perfume

This limited edition fragrance caught my eye as soon as I found the beauty department in my local Primark store. Isn't the packaging just stunning?! The bright orange toned gold box is something that you could probably see from the other side of the shop, and it just called my name. The scent itself is completely different to that of PS Love Noir. Rose Gold has a more fresh and floral scent, that is very warming on the nose. To me, this perfume would be more spring/summer appropriate in comparison to my other Primark perfume. With a powerful floral base and sweet hints of raspberry coming through, it's the perfect girly fragrance to wear both day and night.

Primark PS Love Rose Gold Perfume

If you're on the lookout for a new fragrance or just something a little more inexpensive for daily wear, PS Love Rose Gold could be your everyday perfume. The lasting power of this fragrance is pretty impressive. You can give yourself a few spritzes in the morning and by bedtime, you will still be able to smell it lingering on your skin. With a super affordable price and a great travel sized bottle, perfect for keeping in your handbag for day-to-day use, it's one definitely not to miss!

RRP £3.50 for 50ml

If you caught up with my latest monthly favourites post for December, you would have seen that I included the GHOST Eclipse perfume. It had been my go-to fragrance for the entire month, to the point where I had been wearing it pretty much everyday and my bottle is nearly empty after using it so much since I purchased it way back in June last year.

GHOST Eclipse Perfume

The bottle itself is absolutely stunning. With an ombré effect, a clear glass to a rich, deep orange colour, in GHOSTS signature half moon shape with a rich gold coloured cap. It's so bold and vibrant, and so beautiful to look at, it's a great fragrance to add to your perfume collection.

GHOST Eclipse Perfume

It's a very playful, addictive and feminine scent which could be worn for any occasion, both day to night. Bursting with very fresh, fruity and floral aromas, with hints of fresh lemon, mandarin, apple and peach, it's a perfect fragrance for summertime, but I like it all year round! It also features deeper and warmer base notes of amber and musk, that really add depth to the fragrance. It's simply unforgettable.

GHOST Eclipse Perfume

The lasting power is of this fragrance is unbelievable. I carry this with me in my bag for when I'm on the go, yet I never have to top this up as it lingers all day long. I can spray this on in the morning and still smell it before I go to bed. I have received so many compliments when wearing this and people always ask me what scent I'm wearing. It's definitely become one of my favourite scents. 100% will repurchase!

As a perfume lover, I'm always on the lookout for new fragrances to try and test out, My current staple perfumes are YSL Black Opium, Paco Rabanne Olympea and Hugo Boss The Scent, but I never thought that a fragrance from Primark would be something I repurchase over and over again. This perfume has slowly become my everyday most worn perfume and also my handbag staple, at just £3.50 a bottle I don't mind repurchasing time after time as I now keep my more expensive perfumes for more special occasions. So if you're a fan of perfumes and a fan of Primark beauty, you'll want to keep reading, as this perfume is something you wont want to miss!

Meet Primarks PS Love Noir Perfume.

"Surround yourself with love and happiness with this oriental scent. A deeply sensual blend of rich dark florals, sweetly seductive praline and vanilla musks"

Primark PS Love Noir Perfume 50ml

Primark's PS Love Noir, a deep and sensual scent with hints of super sweet vanilla and fresh floral notes, with a long lasting aroma, I normally just give myself a top up at lunch time and you'll definitely be getting compliments all day long. The packaging is super sleek and lightweight, with a Chanel Chance-esque style bottle, giving you a luxury, designer feel with a more affordable price tag. In terms of price, for a 50ml bottle of PS Love Noir, it will set you back a measly £3.50. Bargain or what?

Primark PS Love Noir Perfume 50ml

If you're on the lookout for a new fragrance or just something a little more inexpensive for daily wear, PS Love Noir is a fantastic everyday perfume, with a super affordable price tag and a great travel sized bottle, perfect for keeping in your handbag for day-to-day use. I would highly recommend Primark perfumes, especially PS Love Noir or PS Rose Gold. I know for sure next time I pop into my local store, I will be checking out the perfume stand to see what other gems they have to offer.

With 2018 being the year that I finally start taking skincare seriously, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ is a product that I decided to get my hands on. My skin can be pretty temperamental, some days its good, some days it bad, but that's life I guess. I would say my skin is fairly normal, with the odd dry and oily patches, nothing too drastic, but a harsh winter has made it enough for me to notice in day to day life. The Effaclar Duo+, "a dual action gel moisturiser for every day that minimises the appearance of spots and blackheads, controls shine and helps protect the skin" and claims to be "A blemish treatment that corrects and hydrates skin for clearer skin in 4 weeks". I've been using the Effaclar Duo+ for around 1 month, I purchased just after Christmas, and have slowly been introducing it into my skincare routine. As a first impressions, my skin definitely has been more matte and less shiny, which is the biggest improvement I have noticed since using this gem from La Roche-Posay.

Hugo Boss The Scent for Her - a new fragrance to add to my never ending perfume collection! I received this perfume for Christmas, I had never tried any fragrances from Hugo Boss previously, since having this one, I have fallen in love with it. It's a very fresh and fruity, bursting with a peachy aroma but with a slightly floral scent that would be a perfect Spring or Summer fragrance.

Whilst learning to drive with Wimbledon Driving School, I downloaded the DVSA Theory Test App to help me with revising for my Theory Test, as well as allowing me to take mock tests and practice the Hazard Perception side to the Theory Test. The app itself is very easy to use, you have a choice of launching the Theory or Hazard Perception programme within the app, with the Theory side allowing you to study and practice each topic, as well as taking mock tests with the 50 questions to answer. I have been finding it very useful in helping me to revise and practice for my upcoming test, and would definitely recommend the app to anyone revising for a Theory Test or even someone who is wanting to learn to drive, this app would be something to look out for!

Marsh and Mallow bars are something new that I have recently discovered when visiting my local Starbucks. I saw these sat in front of the tills and decided to grab a couple in Raspberry and Vanilla flavours, and was very pleasantly surprised with these, they are super tasty and a great snack for on the go! I would recommend you stock up on these on your next trip to Starbucks and keep one in your handbag when you're feeling a little hungry.

A favourite, holy grail make up product of mine has been the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara. I've repurchased this over and over again as this has become a mascara that I know will work for my lashes. This mascara has a plastic brush with thin, small bristles that reach, grab and separate every lash, creating dramatic length without being clumpy, as well as being very black in colour. The mascara is also very buildable, applying one or more coats depending if you want more of a natural or dramatic look to the lashes. I also use this mascara on my bottom lashes, to create length to the lashes and definition to my eyes. Usually priced at £7.99, very affordable and very easy to get hold of in Superdrug or Boots, if you haven't tried this mascara from Rimmel, I would definitely advise you to give it a go.

Lastly for my January favourites, a high-end fragrance of mine that I have loved ever since I ordered my first bottle; YSL Black Opium. I think it's the perfect perfume for special occasions and nights out as it holds such a deep, musky, sexy scent that I really love at this time of year. I've found that this perfume is long-wearing and lingers on the skin all day, which is brilliant as I hate having to carry the perfume around with me for top ups. Every single time I wear it, I get numerous compliments, people asking what I'm wearing or just generally saying I smell nice. If you're after a new perfume or just want to treat yourself to something extra special, Black Opium is the one for you.

What have been your favourite things recently?

In all honestly, I am the biggest perfume lover ever! I just can't get enough! I adore all kinds of scents, I like quite sweet, musky and deep fragrances and find it really hard to choose new ones, which is a pain when I have so many on my current wishlist! But one fragrance that I have been lusting over for a number of months is the YSL Black Opium. Previously, I had never smelt Black Opium, but with so much praise and hype from bloggers and after reading great reviews, it was something that I had been wanting to try for a while. I mean, the scent combinations just sound perfect for my fragrance tastes.

YSL Black Opium Perfume

"Discover Black Opium, the feminine fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent – new glam rock fragrance full of mystery and energy. An addictive gourmand floral with notes of: Black Coffee – for a shot of adrenaline; White Florals – to instantly seduce; and Vanilla – for sweetness and sensuality. WHAT’S STOPPING YOU?"

Top notes: Pink pepper, Orange blossom

Heart notes: Jasmine, Coffee

Base notes: Vanilla, Patchouli, Cedarwood

Since ordering this perfume, I have just fallen in love with it every single time I wear it. It's become my go-to fragrance in day to day life. The bottle alone is just gorgeous.  Black and sparkly, what more could you want? The scent is gorgeous. I mean what's not to love? I think it's the perfect perfume for special occasions and nights out as it holds such a deep, musky, sexy scent that I really love at this time of year. I've found that this perfume is long-wearing and lingers on the skin all day, which is brilliant as I hate having to carry the perfume around with me for top ups.

Every single time I've worn it, I received handfuls of compliments and people asking what I have on. It may be a more expensive perfume than I am used to getting but to me it is well worth every penny and most definitely a luxury treat, something I know I would definitely repurchase! I'm just upset I only purchased a 30ml bottle because it's something I could wear everyday, but it would be a great travel size perfume!
