If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may notice that I have always spoken highly of the Accessorize Volumising Mascara, and crowned this one as my favourite mascara, but I think I have found something from Soap and Glory that I prefer, which is crazy as I absolutely love the Accessorize mascara.

(eye with one coat of mascara)

So let's start of with the brush. It's a super huge, fibre styled brush that really allows you to get a good grip on the lashes and into the corners of your eyes, to really open them up and frame your eyes really well. Most of the mascara's I have used have the same style brush, which for me, is the style I prefer and what I think works best for my lashes.

The application of the mascara is super easy and the formula has the perfect consistency that isn't too wet, which can lead to clumped lashes, which for me is a definite no no! I find this mascara really helps to give my lashes good length and volume which is something I always look for when picking a mascara, as I want something that will help emphasise my eyes and transform my usually short and flat lashes.

Finally the packaging of this mascara is so simple and sleek, combining a bold hot pink on a black background, really makes this stand out and really attracts the eye. It's a good travel size mascara that can fit easily into any make up or handbag and you're good to go! With a retail price of £10, it is on the higher end of the typical drugstore mascara prices (Usually 6-8 pounds) but the price wouldn't put me off from repurchasing as I really like the finished look I get from this mascara, as it helps my lashes really stand out and helps gives my desired look.

So if you are looking for a new mascara, I would highly recommend this one from Soap and Glory as it is the perfect mascara for creating lengthened and voluminous eye lashes, where you can creating a natural daytime or a more dramatic eye look. But if you wanted something on a cheaper budget, the Accessorize Mascara comes pretty close to this one and is also a mascara that I absolutely love!

Have you tried this mascara from Soap and Glory? Have you tried the Accessorize Mascara? Which is your favourite mascara?

When it comes to haircare, there is always one brand that I keep coming back to, and that is Aussie. For as long as I can remember, this brand has featured in my haircare routine and has become some of my staple products that I always go back and repurchase. Not only do Aussie products leave your hair looking and feeling healthy, smooth and soft, they always smell amazing and have a really affordable price tag, so what's not to love?!

Aussie Haircare

As I have mentioned previously on my blog that I like to chop and change up my haircare routine, whilst incorporating and testing new products, Aussie haircare is the only brand that always continuously features in this as I find there products work really well for my hair type and leave my hair in the best condition. I have tried and tested so many of the Aussie range, but the following 4 products are the ones I feel work best for me, and leave my hair looking and feeling great.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Lightweight Conditioning Spray
The conditioning spray is something I would use on towel dry hair, just spritz all over your hair and this helps to de-tangle your hair so that brushing/combing through is easy and hassle free. This sprays always helps to add some moisture and nourishment to your hair, to prevent dryness and weakness.

Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo
Alongside the Luscious Long Shampoo, the Aussome Volume shampoo is definitely one of my favourite products from the Aussie range. This is one of the only shampoos that I feel has really lifted and volumize my hair, making it big and bouncy! Like all Aussie products packed with Australian goodness, this one is enriched with Australian Hops that smells insanely good.

Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment
Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle is definitely a god-send product, and something I am always repurchasing as I absolutely love it! I've tried quite a few of the 3 Minute Miracle products, but I prefer the "Take The Heat" version, as this has a built in heat protection, which helps prevent my hair from damage and breakage when styling with hair dryers or straighteners.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Aussome Volume Deep Treatment Mousse
My final product in my dream team is a new release from Aussie, which is a deep treatment mousse that I have definitely fallen in love with. I've never used any hair mousse before so I was a little sceptical about how they worked or what they did, but this one from Aussie is just so amazing, I cannot describe! This mousse is very lightweight, consisting of a whipped formula that helps to give big, bouncy hair, whilst adding moisture and nourishment, without weighing it down!

So these 4 products are complete staples in my haircare routine and are products that I always go back to and repurchase as I feel they keep my hair in really good condition and are super affordable. If you are looking for some new products to add to your haircare routine or just want some to try out, I would definitely recommend Aussie, as they have such a huge variety of products for all hair types, there is definitely something for everyone!

Today's OOTD is just a simple, everyday springtime smart/casual look which I think would suit any body shape or size. It's such an easy outfit to put together, which I think looks quite dressed up, whilst the trainers give the outfit that relaxed vibe which makes it suitable for daytime wear.
The jeans are a piece I have picked up recently and I think they will be one of my spring/summer staple pairs. I absolutely love them! Also, I think everyone should have a blazer of some description, they're a perfect way to give your outfit a more dressy feel and just such a versatile piece of clothing to style. Everyone loves a bit of monochrome, so this lovely striped tee with crochet detailing on the shoulders is a great way to incorporate such a timeless trend into an outfit.

Now that we are finally seeing some warmer, generally better weather in the UK, I think its about time I ditch my beloved berry toned lipsticks and dark pinks/reds, and opt for something much more spring/summer like. I love a good peachy lip; its a perfect all rounder colour, looks pretty both day and night I think it's the perfect colour for a spring/summer day. Two lipsticks that I keep going back to are both high street brands that are super affordable and I just definitely think they are perfect peaches!

First up is a lipstick from MUA (Shade 7), a beautiful coral peach toned shade which I really adore. Shade 7 is a very creamy and highly pigmented shade, which gives amazing colour pay off in just one swipe. They are very moisturising on the lips and I find they do not need any lip balm beneath them. This was one of the first ever MUA lipsticks I had ever tried, and at £1 a pop you can't complain, and I definitely think they give many other high street brands a run for their money!

Secondly, a gorgeous lipstick from the Kate Moss Collection for Rimmel (Shade 16), which I have previously reviewed in depth here. Shade 16 is such a gorgeous peachy coral light pink colour that just screams spring/summer to me. Many lipsticks have quite a weird, unusual scent to them but Shade 16 really does smell like watermelons, which is delicious. The lipstick applies so smoothly and easily to the lips, the finish that it creates, giving full coverage after a few swipes, as well as being well pigmented and long lasting.  It was a definite favourite last year and still holds one of the top spots for my all time favourite lipstick.

MUA Lipstick Shade 7 RRP - £1
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick Shade 16 RRP - £5.49

Peach toned lipsticks will definitely be my go-to this spring/summer. I find that they really suit my skin tone and are definitely perfect for any occasion! If you have any drugstore peachy lipstick recommendations then please leave a comment as I'd love to hear your suggestions.

Are you a fan of peach lipsticks? What is your favourite shade? What brands do you consider when purchasing a new lip product?
