When it comes to haircare, Aussie have been my go-to hair brand for as long as I can remember. To me, the brand is just so good, I have  featured them multiple times on my blog over the years, including this post - 4 Aussie haircare products you need to try. I've tried so many of the Aussie haircare ranges, you only need to smell all the products to fall in love with them, and I know if my hair is in need of some TLC - Aussie is a brand that I repeatedly go back to as I know that their products work for my hair type and they can ALWAYS sort me out when I'm having a bad hair day!

Aussie Haircare

“There's more to life than hair, but it's a good place to start”
- The Aussie Philosophy -

Aussie Haircare

My holy grail hair treatment. The Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Deep Treatment is the only remedy you need for dry, damaged and thirsty hair. I use this deep conditioner once a week, all year round, but during the colder months, I use this twice as I like to keep my hair shiny and healthy during the colder, harsher weather. A hair treatment with Australian Macadamia Nut Oil -  a lightweight oil that is quickly absorbed without feeling greasy, as well as being highly nourishing and softening. The perfect addition to your winter haircare routine.

Aussie Haircare

Something new that I've tried from Aussie is the Miracle Mega Kool Kiwi Berry Dry Shampoo. I've used Batiste in the past, but Aussie have stolen my heart with their new Miracle Dry Shampoo. Designed for those with normal or greasy hair, the dry shampoo refreshes the hair instantly and without make it look dull or leave any white residue. Formulated with Australian Jojoba Seed Extract - this is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. Like all Aussie products, the scent is to die for. With a beautiful, light berry aroma, it's so sweet and fresh, you'll definitely be getting ask what smells so good!

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Lightweight Treatment

This product, the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Lightweight Treatment was so good, I dedicated a full blog post review to it! Intensive lightweight oil treatment for damaged hair, packed with Australian Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil and Avocado Oil- the perfect haircare combination! With a non-greasy formula, I like to use the Reconstructor on damp hair to help repair the smoothness and give my hair some much needed moisture after washing, as well as on dry hair for amazing shine effect and to tame any frizz. One of my most used and repurchased hair oils, it simply helps your hair look silky, smooth and fabulously shiny. What more could you ask for?

Aussie Haircare

The Aussie Mega Shampoo is the perfect product to use for hair that wants to be clean every day. This daily shampoo packed with Kangaroo Paw Flower extract, helps to cleanse the hair and scalp, and leaves you with beautiful, shiny locks. The shampoo lathers up really well, so you can work it into the hair and scalp for a good, deep clean. Maybe even a little head massage whilst you're there works wonders. After washing and drying, I'm left with super light, bouncy hair that makes you feel a solid 10/10!

What are your favourite Aussie Haircare products? Have you tried any featured in this post?

Way back in September I shared a blog post featuring some of my favourite Autumn haircare. Some of the products in this post I am still currently using to this day, and others I have replaced with something new. My Winter haircare routine is much more thorough and my hair needs all the hydration and nourishment to battle the cold, harsh weather. I've recently tried and tested some new haircare that I've added to my haircare routine, and that leave me with beautiful, shiny and healthy hair. Let's take a look, cause you'll need them too!

Soap and Glory Junk The Gunk™ Charcoal Shampoo
Soap and Glory Junk The Gunk™ Charcoal Shampoo

The most recent addition to my ever changing haircare routine has been the newly released Charcoal Cleansing Shampoo from Soap and Glory. It's unlike any other product I have ever used! Formulated with bamboo charcoal and apricot seed exfoliators, this helps cleanse and refresh the scalp as well as removing product build-up and leaving hair feeling ultra-cleansed. My hair looks nourished, healthy and bouncier! The first time I used this, it felt extremely weird, I could feel the small exfoliating bits being massaged into my scalp, but after a while you get used to it and it does a pretty good job. Scented with notes of grapefruit and bergamot, it leaves your hair smelling pretty damn good.

Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist
Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist

If you've read my previous haircare posts, you'll already know that I'm a massive fan of Aussie Haircare. They've recently brought out a few new haircare products that I just had to get my hands on, and I opted for the Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist. A perfect product to use that gives your locks a shiny boost and add gloss to every strand. It promises to leave your hair smelling delightful with a 48h scent-sational fragrance. I can smell this so strongly when I brush through my hair and it lingers all day long.

Siliscrub Scalp Brush
Siliscrub Scalp Brush

Something that I recently saw on Instagram and decided that I needed to see what all the hype is was the Siliscrub Scalp Brush. At first I thought this was a bit of a gimmick product, but after a few tries, I actually really enjoyed using it. It's built to exfoliate and cleanse the scalp, boost hair growth, eliminate dandruff, and get rid of scalp troubles. It uses soft silicone bristles to brush over the scalp whilst shampooing, and helps you to maintain a healthy scalp by gently lifting away dead skin cells and impurities, and increasing blood flow. It feels like a deep head massage and is the best way to shampoo your hair. It left my hair feeling a lot cleaner and much bouncier. I managed to get around 4 days without washing. I also noticed that my hair had less product build up in the roots, and didn't get greasy/oily as quick.

L'oreal Dream Lengths Heat Mask
L'Oréal Dream Lengths Heat Mask

After discovering my love for the L'Oréal Dream Lengths haircare range, when I saw that they had released a new innovative hair mask, I was all over it! The mask itself follows a 2 step system: Step 1: features a thick balm that you apply from root to tip and leaves the hair feeling immediately nourished. I like to comb the product through so I am sure all my hair is completely covered in the mask. Step 2: A tissue cap infused with a self-heating lotion. You can leave this on for around 10 minutes, or longer if you want a deeper condition. From the very first application, the results were incredible. Silky soft, beautiful hair! Even my dry ends were no more! Would highly recommend!

The Body Shop Banana Mask
The Body Shop Banana Mask

This absolute gem from The Body Shop has been my life saver this winter when it comes to haircare. It's been my go-to hair mask with amazing results after every single use. I tend to use this product once-a-week as a deep conditioning treatment, applying the Banana hair mask all over my hair, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends as this is where I see the most damage and dryness. Enriched with a blend of natural ingredients, including organic Banana puree from Ecuador and Brazil Nut oil from Peru. It leaves hair feeling intensely nourished from root-to-tip, banishes frizz and my hair looks instantly shinier and glossier, all without being weighed down. Another huge plus to this product is the scent. It takes me way back to my childhood of having Nesquik Banana milkshakes and foamy banana sweets. The smell is so fresh and fruity, it's insane.

What products are in your Winter haircare routine? What would you recommend for dry, heat damaged hair?

AD - GIFTED | After winning a Twitter competition recently, my goodies were this AreaH20 Duo Haircare Pack*, containing a hard water shampoo and conditioner made for normal/fine hair. If you haven't heard of Area H20 before, they are an effective and highly research brand whose haircare products are something that works with the water type in your hair, which in time helps to create cleaner and more manageable hair for you.

Area H2O Hard Water Haircare
Area H2O Hard Water Haircare

Area H2O Hard Water Haircare
Area H2O Hard Water Haircare

"Area H2O Hard Water Shampoo (250ml) and Conditioner (200ml) Duo is revolutionary. Scientifically formulated by biochemists it works to combat the effects of mineral deposits on hair in hard water areas.

Water is categorised into three types, Hard, Medium and Soft. The more minerals water contains the 'harder' it becomes. As water becomes 'harder' it also becomes more damaging for our hair as it binds tiny limescale molecules to the lengths, soft water however can cause hair to become slippery and unmanageable.

Different water types affect hair in different ways. Area H20 Hard Water Shampoo – Normal Hair (250ml) is designed to act as a magnet, attracting mineral ions, allowing you to wash them away easily. This means your hair will look and feel noticeably cleaner, smoother and shinier."

After identifying your water type and receiving the correct products, these cleanse the hair of any nasty toxins and help to improve the condition of your hair, which is great! After using these for the first time, the very next day after they arrived, I was amazed with the results. My hair felt so light and bouncy, looked super sleek and soft and just felt really well cleansed. I was pleasantly surprised!

Have you heard of Area H20 before? Would this be something you would be interested in trying?

With the current colder wintery weather, finding the right haircare routine has never been more important. If 2021 is the year you're looking to upgrade your haircare regime, look no further. This year, I'm all over trying to improve my haircare game. I'm making sure to get my hair in the best condition, keep it nourished, and ultimately, grow it longer.

I've been following a number of different haircare tips, incorporating these into my daily routine, to help with my haircare journey this year. Alongside these haircare tips, I've been expanding the haircare products I've been using, experimenting with different brands and treatments, in order to find those suitable for my hair type and needs.

The Hair Boss Overnight Repair Serum
"A luxuriously rich serum that revives and repairs damaged hair while you sleep."

Developed by hair expert Lisa Shepherd, The Hair Boss is a current favourite go-to brand of mine to help tackle my hair problems. Recently, I've been trying out The Overnight Repair Serum to help restore my drier mid-lengths and ends, and regain some much needed moisture. With a lightweight formula, you only need a couple drops everyday to get the best results. A little bit definitely goes a long way, and this 30ml bottle is bound to last you a long time.

Formulated with a blend of luxurious hair oils, this overnight serum has seriously been helping to hydrate and replenish my dry ends. It’s an indulgent, and easy way to improve hair health with only a few seconds work, adding that much needed moisture it's desperately needing.

· Chia Seed Oil - rich in various fatty acids that can penetrate the hair shaft to seal in moisture and prevents hair breakage.

· Macadamia Nut Oil - great for calming frizz, tangles, and dullness.

· Argan Oil - can moisturize your hair and scalp and protect your hair from everyday damage.

· Sunflower Seed Oil - deeply nourishing and soothing to dry hair and scalps. It locks in moisture and helps keeps hair healthy and strong.

· Soy Bean Oil - contains many essential vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids.

· Coconut Oil - adds lustre, shine and softness to the hair, as well as promoting hair growth.

"Turn back time with our luxuriously rich serum that works to reduce the signs of damage while you sleep. Rich in natural oils the serum provides the hair with vital nutrients and moisture needed for strong, healthy hair."

The Overnight Repair Serum has been a great addition into my haircare routine, so simple to use and requires minimum effort, it's a thumbs up from me! I like to keep this hair serum next to my bed, to ensure the application of the product is so easy and quick. Before I go to sleep, I like to warm 2-3 drops of the product into the palm of my hands, and gently massage into the mid-lengths and ends of my hair.

I follow this by simply brushing my hair, to make sure all the product has been evenly distributed through my hair, and leave it to work its magic overnight. With regular use of this product, I have definitely seen a change in the texture and appearance of my hair, especially at the ends. The Overnight Repair Serum has definitely helped add moisture and shine back into my hair, and provided that hydration it's really needed on my journey to healthy, strong hair.

Have you tried The Hair Boss Overnight Repair Serum? What products feature in your haircare routine?

When it comes to haircare, there is always one brand that I keep coming back to, and that is Aussie. For as long as I can remember, this brand has featured in my haircare routine and has become some of my staple products that I always go back and repurchase. Not only do Aussie products leave your hair looking and feeling healthy, smooth and soft, they always smell amazing and have a really affordable price tag, so what's not to love?!

Aussie Haircare

As I have mentioned previously on my blog that I like to chop and change up my haircare routine, whilst incorporating and testing new products, Aussie haircare is the only brand that always continuously features in this as I find there products work really well for my hair type and leave my hair in the best condition. I have tried and tested so many of the Aussie range, but the following 4 products are the ones I feel work best for me, and leave my hair looking and feeling great.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Lightweight Conditioning Spray
The conditioning spray is something I would use on towel dry hair, just spritz all over your hair and this helps to de-tangle your hair so that brushing/combing through is easy and hassle free. This sprays always helps to add some moisture and nourishment to your hair, to prevent dryness and weakness.

Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo
Alongside the Luscious Long Shampoo, the Aussome Volume shampoo is definitely one of my favourite products from the Aussie range. This is one of the only shampoos that I feel has really lifted and volumize my hair, making it big and bouncy! Like all Aussie products packed with Australian goodness, this one is enriched with Australian Hops that smells insanely good.

Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment
Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle is definitely a god-send product, and something I am always repurchasing as I absolutely love it! I've tried quite a few of the 3 Minute Miracle products, but I prefer the "Take The Heat" version, as this has a built in heat protection, which helps prevent my hair from damage and breakage when styling with hair dryers or straighteners.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Aussome Volume Deep Treatment Mousse
My final product in my dream team is a new release from Aussie, which is a deep treatment mousse that I have definitely fallen in love with. I've never used any hair mousse before so I was a little sceptical about how they worked or what they did, but this one from Aussie is just so amazing, I cannot describe! This mousse is very lightweight, consisting of a whipped formula that helps to give big, bouncy hair, whilst adding moisture and nourishment, without weighing it down!

So these 4 products are complete staples in my haircare routine and are products that I always go back to and repurchase as I feel they keep my hair in really good condition and are super affordable. If you are looking for some new products to add to your haircare routine or just want some to try out, I would definitely recommend Aussie, as they have such a huge variety of products for all hair types, there is definitely something for everyone!

AD - GIFTED| Looking to save time on your haircare routine? Want to add a new hairstyling tool to your collection? Why not consider a hair straightening brush!

Hair straightening brushes have been popping up everywhere recently. They are available absolutely everywhere - via online websites, in your local salons and in high-street stores. Probably one of the most recent and newest products in the hairstyling game, and nowadays, many haircare brands have one to offer - I use the Liberex Hair Straightening Brush. A hair straightening brush could become a complete game-changer in your haircare routine - especially for those with thick, coarse, wavy or curly hair. If you're tired of spending ages doing your hair in the morning, it might be time to get your hands on a hair straightening brush asap!

WOMENS HAIRSTYLES

Hair straightening brushes are incredibly useful hair tools and are typical safe to use for all hair types. Whether you have thick, wavy or curly hair, this hair tool can transform your haircare routine. Many hair straightening brushes come with a number of interchangeable brushes - depending on the thickness and texture of your hair, as well as advising you on the best temperature setting to use to ensure it works for your hair type.

Using a hairbrush and a hair straightener at the same time can be extremely tricky and fiddly. Not only are hair straightening brushes a 2 in 1 product that are much easier to use, it's also incredibly time saving on your haircare styling routine. Hair straightening brushes heat up in super quick time and give you brilliant results within minutes of use. In fact, I've found using this hairstyling took less time to style my hair than my hair straighteners, meaning my morning haircare routine took a lot less time and I didn't have to compromise on results.

Many hair straightening brushes are designed to be small and compact, making them incredibly travel-friendly. A perfect haircare tool to take on-the-go, whether you're going away for the weekend or on a week-long holiday, a hair straightening brush could be your best friend. By being a hairbrush and a hair straightening tool, means you can save space in your handbag/luggage, as this multi-use tool is the perfect 2 in 1 accessory.

One of the greatest benefits of using a hair straightening brush is that overall, they can be much less damaging on your hair than your average hair straighteners. Whilst using, the brush glides through the hair so easily, you have no tangling, no snagging and no breakage - you're also not clamping the hair between two hot irons, making it more gentle to use on the hair. You're also more than likely going to be using a lower temperature, allowing you to avoid heat damage and burning any hair.

- Top Tips When Using a Hair Straightening Brush -

●  Make sure to brush hair with a normal brush/comb before using, to make sure hair is knot and tangle free.

●  Always use the brush on dry hair. Never use on extremely wet or damp hair as this can cause heat damage and leave your hair burnt.

●  Use heat protectant before use to keep hair protected. This will help keep your hair soft and prevent any frizz.

●  Straighten your hair in small sections for better results.

Liberex Hair Straightening Brush Before ResultsLiberex Hair Straightening Brush After Results

I decided to include a before and after photograph of my hair, so I could see for myself how well the Liberex Hair Straightening Brush performed on my first use of the hair tool. On the left, this is my hair freshly washed and dried using a hair dryer. As you can see, my natural hair is fairly straight with a few wispy and wavy areas, and is slightly frizzy. On the right, this is my hair after using the hair straightening brush. As you can see, there is a significant and noticeable difference in the appearance and condition of my hair. My hair is pretty straight, the frizz has noticeably reduced and overall, my hair is definitely a lot more silky, soft and shiny - just needs a good trim, and it will be in a much more manageable, healthier condition.

From my experience, using the Liberex Hair Straightening Brush was incredibly quick and easy. The brush itself is very durable and glides through the hair with ease. I experienced no snagging, no knots, and I didn't have to keep going over the same section of hair - like you would sometimes with a typical hair straightener. Having a hair tool that brushes and straightens my hair all at once is very handy - especially if you need to get ready in a hurry!

AD - GIFTED | In regards to beauty, haircare is something I have always been passionate about and something that I love to explore in terms of trying new brands and new products regularly. For reference, my hair is medium length, never dyed, natural dark blonde hair. In terms of texture, my hair isn't very fine and it isn't thick, somewhere in between, naturally quite straight with a few wavy areas, and I do suffer with some dryness from time to time in the mid-lengths and ends of my hair.

In collaboration with Panasonic beauty products uk*, I wanted to share some of my current favourite drugstore haircare products that will have your hair looking refreshed, silky soft and in tip-top condition!

AD - GIFTED | When it comes to my haircare routine, I'm always swapping and changing the products I use. I love to try out new products and new ranges that brands bring out, and when ECO Cosmetics reached out to me and asked if I would be interested in trying out a couple of new products from their hair styling range, I couldn't say no!

Eco Cosmetics Natural Hair Products

German-based brand Eco Cosmetics has launched its hair styling range, fully natural and organic, containing ingredients like Goji Berries and Pomegranate, a perfect combination for nourishing the hair whilst boosting the appearance, volume and shine. The range is certified by Ecocert, contains organic ingredients and is cruelty-free.

Eco Cosmetics Natural Hair Mousse

ECO Cosmetics Hair Mousse*

"This styling foam gives your hair volume and hold. No more frizz, even in damp weather! Enriched with goji berries*, it provides strength and protection all day long. It makes styling easy and leaves your hair feeling silky smooth, shiny and full of body. Precious pomegranate extracts* protect the skin and hair from drying out. Hair stays smooth and supple even after repeated use."

Eco Cosmetics Natural Hair Spray

ECO Cosmetics Hair Spray*

"Nourishes your hair and protects it from drying out. Enriched with goji berries*, it provides strength and protection all day long. Hair feels silky smooth, shiny and full of body. Precious pomegranate extracts* protect the scalp and hair from drying out."

After trialling these two haircare products from ECO Cosmetics over the last month, I have to say I was quite impressed. I don't really tend to use hair sprays or mousses in my usual day-to-day haircare, but the Hair Mousse from ECO Cosmetics in particular was a great addition to my haircare routine.

The mousse itself was very lightweight, and not at all sticky, so it didn't weigh down my hair at all. The natural ingredients packed into the products helped my hair to maintain a healthy shine and appearance, adding some volume and I also found that my hair was less frizzy after washing and styling.

The hairspray was unlike any other hairspray I have used before. If I was to use a hairspray, it would most probably be in an aerosol sort of can, however this hair spray from ECO Cosmetics is an actual spray like consistency, similar to a facial mist, not something I was expecting or used to at all. However, when using the hair spray after styling my hair, I found that my hair was still in very good, healthy condition, and not looking dry and crispy-like some hair sprays can do to your hair.

AD - GIFTED | A while back I was contacted on Twitter with the opportunity to review some haircare products from Richard Ward, a celebrity hairdresser with a new range of innovative hair care – The Chelsea Collection – exclusively at Waitrose. So as a lover of all things haircare, I jumped at the chance of this; as anything with keratin is great for the hair and something that promises volume is a win win for me!

Richard Ward Keratin Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
Richard Ward Keratin Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
Richard Ward Keratin Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

I always mix up my haircare routine, as I feel using the same products isn't too great for your hair as the product builds up and your hair will get used to the products, therefore each wash you wont get the desired effect. Alongside my Aussie products, I was using these Richard Ward products and I was very happy with the results that I got from these.

Both the keratin volume shampoo* and conditioner* smell very lovely, really fruity and floral, not too overpowering like some salon products can be. The shampoo lathers up really well and really makes your hair feel clean after the very first wash. The conditioner on the other hand was slightly weird, not in a bad way, just a very strange consistency that I found quite difficult to squeeze out the bottle. However, once applied to the hair and rinsed out, my hair was left looking shiny and silky and feeling light and bouncy.

Overall, after using these two products for a couple of months now, I am really impressed with how they work for my hair and how my hair looks after using them. My hair is left feeling super clean, bouncy, healthy and slightly volumized, which is something I always look for when using haircare products! So if you're looking to try out some new haircare, I would definitely recommend these!

If your hair is in need of some serious TLC, you need to get your hands on the Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask; the perfect summer staple, and a real treat to add to your haircare routine. A silky and thick hydrating conditioning mask, this is suitable for those with extremely coarse, dry and heat damaged hair, a great product to try for that added hydration and nourishment, to keep your hair looking healthy and shiny all summer long.

Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask

"Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask is particularly effective for dry, thick and coarse hair as it tends to be extremely dehydrated and requires added moisture to stay healthy."

This hair mask has a super rich and creamy formula, suitably designed to hydrate and nourish dry and damaged hair. Concentrated with Argan Oil; this naturally and effectively adds hydration and shine back to dull, lifeless locks.

Directions for use are super easy to follow...

After shampooing, apply a generous amount of Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask all over the hair and comb it through so each strand of hair is covered with the mask.

Leave for around 5 to 7 minutes, which is plenty of time to help recondition and reconstruct the hair, I sometimes leave on for around 20 minutes for a more deep condition so I know it will add the much needed moisture and elasticity back to my dry hair. Make sure to rinse out well, and finish with cold water to help keep hair looking strong and shiny.

I've used the Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask for a number of weeks now, and it definitely does a great job for the hair. My hair has definitely felt a lot stronger, looked healthier and more moisturised, as well as being more manageable and shiny. The condition of my mid-lengths to ends have improved 100% since using this mask, no more dry, straw-like hair! If you like to splurge and treat yourself when it comes to haircare, this is a great product to add to your haircare routine.

However, if high-end haircare isn't for you, and you are looking for a hair mask that does a similar job to the Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask, is more easily accessible and has a more affordable price tag, I would definitely recommend the Maui Moisture Revive & Hydrate Shea Butter Mask!
