When it comes to haircare, Aussie have been my go-to hair brand for as long as I can remember. To me, the brand is just so good, I have  featured them multiple times on my blog over the years, including this post - 4 Aussie haircare products you need to try. I've tried so many of the Aussie haircare ranges, you only need to smell all the products to fall in love with them, and I know if my hair is in need of some TLC - Aussie is a brand that I repeatedly go back to as I know that their products work for my hair type and they can ALWAYS sort me out when I'm having a bad hair day!

Aussie Haircare

“There's more to life than hair, but it's a good place to start”
- The Aussie Philosophy -

Aussie Haircare

My holy grail hair treatment. The Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moisture Deep Treatment is the only remedy you need for dry, damaged and thirsty hair. I use this deep conditioner once a week, all year round, but during the colder months, I use this twice as I like to keep my hair shiny and healthy during the colder, harsher weather. A hair treatment with Australian Macadamia Nut Oil -  a lightweight oil that is quickly absorbed without feeling greasy, as well as being highly nourishing and softening. The perfect addition to your winter haircare routine.

Aussie Haircare

Something new that I've tried from Aussie is the Miracle Mega Kool Kiwi Berry Dry Shampoo. I've used Batiste in the past, but Aussie have stolen my heart with their new Miracle Dry Shampoo. Designed for those with normal or greasy hair, the dry shampoo refreshes the hair instantly and without make it look dull or leave any white residue. Formulated with Australian Jojoba Seed Extract - this is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. Like all Aussie products, the scent is to die for. With a beautiful, light berry aroma, it's so sweet and fresh, you'll definitely be getting ask what smells so good!

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Lightweight Treatment

This product, the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Lightweight Treatment was so good, I dedicated a full blog post review to it! Intensive lightweight oil treatment for damaged hair, packed with Australian Macadamia Nut Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil and Avocado Oil- the perfect haircare combination! With a non-greasy formula, I like to use the Reconstructor on damp hair to help repair the smoothness and give my hair some much needed moisture after washing, as well as on dry hair for amazing shine effect and to tame any frizz. One of my most used and repurchased hair oils, it simply helps your hair look silky, smooth and fabulously shiny. What more could you ask for?

Aussie Haircare

The Aussie Mega Shampoo is the perfect product to use for hair that wants to be clean every day. This daily shampoo packed with Kangaroo Paw Flower extract, helps to cleanse the hair and scalp, and leaves you with beautiful, shiny locks. The shampoo lathers up really well, so you can work it into the hair and scalp for a good, deep clean. Maybe even a little head massage whilst you're there works wonders. After washing and drying, I'm left with super light, bouncy hair that makes you feel a solid 10/10!

What are your favourite Aussie Haircare products? Have you tried any featured in this post?

When it comes to haircare, there is always one brand that I keep coming back to, and that is Aussie. For as long as I can remember, this brand has featured in my haircare routine and has become some of my staple products that I always go back and repurchase. Not only do Aussie products leave your hair looking and feeling healthy, smooth and soft, they always smell amazing and have a really affordable price tag, so what's not to love?!

Aussie Haircare

As I have mentioned previously on my blog that I like to chop and change up my haircare routine, whilst incorporating and testing new products, Aussie haircare is the only brand that always continuously features in this as I find there products work really well for my hair type and leave my hair in the best condition. I have tried and tested so many of the Aussie range, but the following 4 products are the ones I feel work best for me, and leave my hair looking and feeling great.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Lightweight Conditioning Spray
The conditioning spray is something I would use on towel dry hair, just spritz all over your hair and this helps to de-tangle your hair so that brushing/combing through is easy and hassle free. This sprays always helps to add some moisture and nourishment to your hair, to prevent dryness and weakness.

Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo
Alongside the Luscious Long Shampoo, the Aussome Volume shampoo is definitely one of my favourite products from the Aussie range. This is one of the only shampoos that I feel has really lifted and volumize my hair, making it big and bouncy! Like all Aussie products packed with Australian goodness, this one is enriched with Australian Hops that smells insanely good.

Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment
Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle is definitely a god-send product, and something I am always repurchasing as I absolutely love it! I've tried quite a few of the 3 Minute Miracle products, but I prefer the "Take The Heat" version, as this has a built in heat protection, which helps prevent my hair from damage and breakage when styling with hair dryers or straighteners.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Aussome Volume Deep Treatment Mousse
My final product in my dream team is a new release from Aussie, which is a deep treatment mousse that I have definitely fallen in love with. I've never used any hair mousse before so I was a little sceptical about how they worked or what they did, but this one from Aussie is just so amazing, I cannot describe! This mousse is very lightweight, consisting of a whipped formula that helps to give big, bouncy hair, whilst adding moisture and nourishment, without weighing it down!

So these 4 products are complete staples in my haircare routine and are products that I always go back to and repurchase as I feel they keep my hair in really good condition and are super affordable. If you are looking for some new products to add to your haircare routine or just want some to try out, I would definitely recommend Aussie, as they have such a huge variety of products for all hair types, there is definitely something for everyone!

Have you used Aussie hair care before?

When it comes to haircare, Aussie is my go to brand. I've used their products for years and years, they just have the perfect products to fulfil my haircare needs and I am never disappointed.

“There's more to life than hair, but it's a good place to start“: The Aussie Philosophy

I recently picked another bottle up of the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Intensive Lightweight Oil. (It's so good, I'm on my third bottle!) A treatment specifically designed for those with damaged hair, I thought now the sun is shining, and the weather is warming up, this could be a great product to bring out to add to my Summer haircare routine, to help avoid heat damaged and my hair drying out.

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor Treatment

The product itself has a clear oil and serum consistency, which is easily absorbed into the hair.
Blended with 3 beautiful, miracle oils ; Australian Macadamia Nut, Jojoba-seed and Avocado, encouraging your hair to look effortlessly silky, smooth and shiny. It smells super sweet, fresh and slightly nutty.

Just a few drops spread through the lengths and ends of my hair gives plenty of moisture and shine with no greasiness and no sticky residue. Simply making my hair feel super soft, more manageable and tangle free.

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor Treatment

The directions for use are super simple, there are 3 main uses for this product and I honestly find all 3 very effective.

- use the oil before shampooing as a pre-wash treatment

- on damp hair to help with smoothness, seal split-ends and manage frizz and flyaways

- on dry hair for amazing shine, looking nourished and perfect for styling

I've used the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor Treatment over and over again. I just love the way it makes my hair look and feel; amazing shine, visibly nourished and makes it feel super soft. Retailing at £9.99, it's on the pricier side for a drugstore oil, but seeing as it gives amazing results from the first use and will last a really long time as a little goes a long way, I definitely think it's worth the investment!

Have you tried the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor Oil Treatment?

I've wanted to share with you all my Current Hair Care Heroes. When I had come up with the idea of this post, I did realise that I do actually use quite a few hair products, so I have split this little guide into two separate posts. You can view the first part of my Hair Care Heroes here, where I share my current go to styling and protecting products.

My hair is naturally quite thick and wavy, sometimes dry,  as well as being long ( below my shoulders), so keeping it looking strong and healthy can be quite the chore. But I think I have found some great, affordable products that help tame and nourish my hair! So let's get started with part 2, and take a look at my shampoos, conditioners and treatments!
Haircare Heroes
Products from left to right

Naked Rescue Repairing Hair Treatment
I was kindly gifted this product through a blogger's secret santa as one of my presents, and I absolutely love it! The treatment comes in a 20ml size sachet, and I find this is the perfect amount to cover my long hair. I wouldn't say my hair is frizzy or damaged, as this treatment is specially for, but this makes such a difference to my hair after use. It's 97% natural, containing Argan Oil, Meadowfoam and Sunflower Seed extracts, helping to prevent hair breakage and dryness.

I simply use this after I have washed my hair, and apply the contents of the sachet evenly throughout my hair, to make sure its all covered. Sometimes to help, I gently comb the treatment through my hair so I know its evenly distributed. I then like to leave the treatment to work for 15-30 minutes, depending on how much time I have. Then I simply rinse it out, and finish with a cold rinse to help boost shine.

Overall, I was really happy to receive this product and love how it treats my hair. After use, it makes my hair look so soft and sleek, nourished and replenished! Unfortunately, I don't have any left, so I need to find out where to get the! But I would recommend this 100%, even if you hair isn't frizzy or damaged, it works a treat!

Headmasters SOS Moisture Shampoo
I received this free with a order I made with Very.co.uk, and I've nearly used it up, so so far its been good to use. I don't usually use salon shampoos, but the Headmasters one has had quite an effect on my hair, in a good way! I use this shampoo when my hair really needs a treat and some real looking after!

This is a great shampoo if you're someone who uses heat on their hair quite frequently, as this helps to add moisture and nourishment to dry, damaged hair. With added Macadamia Nut Oil, this helps to mainly prevent breakage, as well as protecting and softening the hair. The only thing that sometimes puts me off is the smell. Salon shampoos have quite a pungent, strong smell, which if used to regularly can be quite over powering and cause product build up, but the smell doesn't really put me off. Its still a lovely shampoo to use and really cleanses my hair well.

Overall, I think this is a great shampoo at adding moisture to the hair. It cleanses the hair well, and always gives me that "just out the hairdressers look". I often blow dry my hair so this is a great shampoo that helps to protect from heat damage. Its just a good shampoo to use, on rotation with others, as this helps to keep your hair healthy and helps growth.

Headmasters SOS Moisture Conditioner
I received this free with a order I made with Very.co.uk, and its a really lovely, moisturising conditioner. The conditioner is so soft and creamy, and really boosts your hairs condition, even after just one use!

Perfect for those who use a lot of heat styling on there hair, as this helps to protect and prevent any damage, with its added Macadamia Nut Oil, which is a great natural hair product ingredient. I mainly like to use this conditioner on the ends of my hair, as this is where I see the most dryness and is the main area that needs extra moisture and attention. It smells very similar to the shampoo, but on a less intense level, so its a lot nicer to use.

This is a lovely conditioner to use, its helps prevent damage whilst adding moisture to the hair. It helps to protect from heat damage and really makes my hair soft and shiny after use, as well as more manageable and stronger.

THIS ONE Replenishment Treatment
This is something I picked up a few months ago, after receiving a sample of the treatment with a Superdrug order I placed, and since then I absolutely love it. The replenishment treatment is basically a hair mask that helps to boost your hairs shine, radiance and softness, which for me it does all of that.

This is a product that I would use maybe a few times a month, for when I just want to improve the appearance and feel of my hair. It contains Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter and Black Oat Extracts, which all help to make your hair much softer and glossy, helping to boost its healthiness and moisture. I like to use this after washing my hair, towel drying it slightly and applying a generous amount throughout my hair and leaving to work its magic for up to 20 minutes, then rinsing out. It has quite a thick, creamy like texture, which I kind of prefer in a hair mask. It smells quite weird, but not in a disgusting way, I just cant describe it, its quite creamy, sweet, buttery and oily, buts its not unpleasant.

THIS ONE is a new brand that I have discovered, and from the products I have tested so far, I am super impressed. All there products are so affordable and have really helped to improve the health and strength of my hair, as well as the appearance. THIS ONE's products are suitable for all hair types, and even coloured hair! If you're looking to try out a new hair mask that's purse friendly, head on down to your local Superdrug and pick up this!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment
This is definitely a miracle hair care product that I own. I've been using the 3 minute miracle for years and its never let me down. There's so many versions of this, I usually go for the luscious long or take the heat, as I feel these suit my hair type best.

I like to use this with my Aussie Shampoo, and apply this treatment mainly to the lengths and ends of my hair, as this is where I see the most "damage" and area that needs the most attention. Simply work the treatment through, and leave for 3 minutes! If you want a deeper treatment, I sometimes leave this for 10-15 minutes, depending on the condition of my hair or when I used a hair mask last, as well as the colder months, as your hair can get damaged easier due to the weather. The 3 minute miracle treatment contains Australian Jojoba Seed Oil, which is a natural product that smells absolutely DELICIOUS, that is great at repairing and protecting the hair!

Over the years, I've gone through so many bottles of this! It is just a great hair care product and I would recommend this to everyone. Its great as a conditioner and hair mask treatment, and the Aussie range have a suitable product for all hair types. Its super affordable, around the £5 mark, long lasting and is available everywhere! I usually pick mine up in Boots or Superdrug, but it's also available in most supermarkets and online. So if you're looking for a new hair treatment, then give this one a go, its one of my all time favourites!

Aussie Aussome Volume Shampoo
I've been using Aussie hair care products for so long, that I think I've tried nearly every one of there shampoos, and this seems to be my favourite. This particular shampoo is a great volume booster for all hair types, especially fine or flat hair. Its a great lightweight shampoo that contains Australian Hops and Aloe Vera, that helps to leave your hair soft and healthy, as well voluminous and full!

One thing about Aussie products that always has me coming back is the smell! Every single product of there's smells absolutely gorgeous! It lathers up really nicely and really leaves your hair looking and feeling clean and fresh. My hair is always so soft after using this shampoo and it definitely is one my my heroes!

Aussie products are always such good value for money, so affordable and have separate ranged for all hair types. The volume shampoo is one of my favourites and something I always repurchase. I only have a little but left of this bottle, so a sneaky trips to the shops is in order!

So there we have my current hair care heroes, that I use to shampoo, condition and treat my hair with! I do tend to stick to the same or similar products or brands, as I know that it seems to work with my hair and I like the smell/effects it gives to me.

What are your hair care heroes? What hair shampoo/conditioner/treatment products are you currently using and loving? Have you tried any of the products I have featured today? Would you be interested in trying any I have featured?

December Favourites

Monthly favourites time has come around very quickly again, and I've made a huge list of things that I've loved throughout December. If I included everything on my list this time, we would be here all day reading about the products and items on my favourites list. Obviously Christmas was an overall favourite of mine, I love giving presents and celebrating with all my friends and family. As well as my nieces 1st birthday on Christmas Eve, which was really special. But I also had a list of mainly beauty favourites for the month, so let's see what I've been loving through December!

I mentioned both The Body Shops Berry Bon Bon Shower Gel and The Body Shop Berry Bon Bon Body Lotion in a recent post of mine - 2018 Festive Favourites from The Body Shop. It was definitely my favourite scent from the Christmas range that they released for 2018. Enriched with cranberry seed oil from the floodplains of North America, this juicy and fruity seasonal scent that is packed full of delicious winter berries. I've stocked up on both products as I really don't want them to run out any time soon! The scent is just so fresh and fruity, it lingers on the skin for hours. These shower gels lather up so well, you only need the smallest amount ever. The body lotion has such a rich, creamy formula, it feels so nourishing and moisturising on the skin

Another favourite of mine has been the Aussie Mega Shampoo. I mentioned this product previously in my Aussie Haircare Gems blog post and it's become a staple haircare product in my routine. Aussie is a brand that I repeatedly go back to as I know that their haircare works for my hair type and I really love the scent of all their products. The Aussie Mega Shampoo is the perfect product to use for hair that wants to be clean every day. This daily shampoo packed with Kangaroo Paw Flower extract, helps to cleanse the hair and scalp, and leaves you with beautiful, healthy shiny locks. The shampoo lathers up really well, so you can work it into the hair and scalp for a good, deep clean and get rid of any product build up.

Usually for work, I pick up the ALDI All Butter Croissants, as these are a perfect breakfast or snack for on the go. You can get them in a pack of 8 for just £1.09 which I think is super affordable and a great price to pay for a breakfast snack. Although very different from the traditional French croissant, these ALDI ones are very soft, rich and buttery. Super tasty and a great way to start the day, alongside your morning coffee.

For Christmas, I received a box of the Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates and I've already finished the entire box. Lindt is definitely one of my favourite chocolate brands. The truffles are incredibly smooth and delicious, you can't just stop at one. The assortment contains milk, extra dark, milk with hazelnut pieces and white chocolate truffles, all of these are to die for but my favourites are definitely the original milk truffle and the white chocolate.

Throughout December, my go-to fragrance has been the Ghost Eclipse Perfume. I've been wearing it pretty much everyday. The bottle itself is absolutely stunning. A rich orange coloured glass bottle in the shape of a crescent moon, with a rich gold cap. It's beautiful to look at, as well as the smell. A very playful and addictive scent, bursting with very fresh, fruity and floral aromas. With hints of fresh lemon, mandarin, apple and peach, it's a perfect fragrance for summertime, but I like it all year round!

It wouldn't be a December favourites post if I didn't include the Primark Cosy Socks. These are a staple of mine all year round, but I love to get new ones around Christmas time. Primark's Cosy Socks are one of the most comfortable, warm and cosy socks I have ever worn. I've got countless pairs of these in my sock drawer and they are something I repurchase time and time again as I cannot fault them whatsoever. At a bargain price of £1.80 for two pairs, it's extremely hard not to stock up on all the new colours and designs they have.

Another beauty favourite of mine has been the Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil. This has been my shower staple, as well as The Body Shop Berry Bon Bon Shower Gel throughout December. The Dove Shower Oil has been the perfect product to keep my body hydrated and moisturised during the colder winter months. Infused with non-greasy Moroccan Argan oil, it cleanses, moisturises and protects from dryness to leave the skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch. It's a really lightweight oil, that lathers really well in the shower, followed by a gorgeous deep and rich Argan oil scent. Priced around the £5, it is definitely something I would recommend you to try if you suffer from dry skin during the winter.

Finally, how could I not include the 2018 Bloggers Secret Santa. This year, I opted to take part in a Secret Santa over on Twitter. I was kindly invited by Casey to join in with a 2018 Bloggers Secret Santa. I think they are a fantastic way of networking and meeting new people. It also gave me the opportunity to share my blog and chat with fellow bloggers who I would have never of known about. The Secret Santa was super easy to get involved in. There was an Elfster group set up, where everyone was matched to another individual taking part. You had the opportunity to make your own Wishlist's, so the person who was buying for you had a little idea of the things you would like and your interests.

As soon as I opened my gift box up, this was all I could smell. The first wrapped up gift was a Cupcake Bath Bomb with Red Berries. This filled my whole box with such a beautiful fresh and spa like scent.  Secondly, I received The Body Shop Wild Argan Hand Cream. A Primark Home Sloth "Hang in There" Mug. Finally, I received  both The Body Shop Green Tea Bath Bomb and Coconut Bubble Bar. I've wanted to try these for the longest time, yet I have never actually purchased them myself.

I had the pleasure of buying two Secret Santa gifts this year. Due to a few people dropping out from the gift exchange, I decided I would purchase for someone who didn't have a partner and I bought gifts for both Casey and Alicia. I had to do quite a lot of stalking on both the girls to find out what they liked, as well as using their Elfster Wishlist's to create the perfect Secret Santa gifts for them.

What have been your favourite things for December? Did you all have a great Christmas and New Year?
14:00 No comments
December has been a busy month for me, but I have definitely had products that I have really loved using or products that I would recommend as I've used them for most days this month. I have a whole selection of products from beauty to footwear to TV shows and more, so let's get started!

One Tree Hill
I love a good teen drama, and something that I have been watching religiously this month is One Tree Hill. I remember only watching Season One a long time ago, remembering my love for Lucas Scott and realised I had never carried on watching. Fast forward five seasons and I am hooked that bad that I can watch a good three or four episodes at a time. It's such an easy watch series that even if you aren't a fan of basketball, you will really enjoy watching it.

YSL Black Opium
As a perfume lover, I had been hearing such a hype about this fragrance from a number of beauty lovers, that I needed to get my hands on this and see what all the fuss was about. Since receiving this perfume, I have worn it nearly everyday, I absolutely love it! It's such a deep, sexy, musky scent, I think it really is something any female would love and if you haven't smelt/tried this, I would definitely recommend it! If you want to find out more about what I think about this, you can read my review here.

Nike Roshe Runs
When it comes to shoes, I'm 100% a trainer girl. Don't get me wrong, I love wearing heels and boots for a more smart occasion but I love being comfortable and knowing that I can wear a pair of shoes all day and not have painful feet come evening time. I picked up my Roshe's via ASOS and have been wearing them non stop for the last few months, that I just had to include them in my first monthly favourites, as they are just that amazing, I want them in every colour! Next on my purchase list will be the all black version, navy and burgundy!

ELF 3-in-1 Mascara
As it goes for mascara, I thought my favourite for this month would be the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara as this has been a staple in my make up routine for a while. In the hope of finding some more mascaras that I loved just as much, I recently placed an ELF order, and purchased the 3-in-1 Mascara (Lengthen, Define and Volumize) in hope it would be just as good, and I was actually happy with the results after the first application, that it has become a staple for me over the last few weeks. The brush is a little strange and oddly shaped, but that seems to work for me as my lashes look longer, thicker and defined, something I always want in a mascara!

Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes
I love coffee. It's the perfect pick me up for tired mornings and it's just something I couldn't live without. But every year when Starbucks bring out the festive drinks menu, my love for coffee gets even stronger. Usually I'm a Caramel Macchiato/White Chocolate Mocha lover, but when it's Christmas time, I'm all over those Gingerbread Lattes! Just the thought of a sweet and delicately spicy gingerbread latte gets me in the festive mood and makes you feel all warm inside. I will definitely be sad when they're no longer available!

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil
A new addition to my haircare routine is the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil. As a huge fan of Aussie haircare, I was desperate to try the new hair oil they released earlier this year, and so far it blows all my other ones out of the water! With a blend of 3 oils Macademia, Safflower Seed and Coconut, you just know its going to do good things to your locks. First of all, the scent is just incredible. Just like the whole Aussie range, it just smells so sweet and fruity, it's so lovely. And of course the oil itself performs really well, I apply it to the lengths and ends of my hair after washing, and I'm left with shiny, silky, nourished healthy hair! If you haven't tried this yet, and you're a fan of haircare, I would 100% recommend this!

What have been your favourites this month?
12:00 No comments
Way back in September I shared a blog post featuring some of my favourite Autumn haircare. Some of the products in this post I am still currently using to this day, and others I have replaced with something new. My Winter haircare routine is much more thorough and my hair needs all the hydration and nourishment to battle the cold, harsh weather. I've recently tried and tested some new haircare that I've added to my haircare routine, and that leave me with beautiful, shiny and healthy hair. Let's take a look, cause you'll need them too!

Soap and Glory Junk The Gunk™ Charcoal Shampoo
Soap and Glory Junk The Gunk™ Charcoal Shampoo

The most recent addition to my ever changing haircare routine has been the newly released Charcoal Cleansing Shampoo from Soap and Glory. It's unlike any other product I have ever used! Formulated with bamboo charcoal and apricot seed exfoliators, this helps cleanse and refresh the scalp as well as removing product build-up and leaving hair feeling ultra-cleansed. My hair looks nourished, healthy and bouncier! The first time I used this, it felt extremely weird, I could feel the small exfoliating bits being massaged into my scalp, but after a while you get used to it and it does a pretty good job. Scented with notes of grapefruit and bergamot, it leaves your hair smelling pretty damn good.

Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist
Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist

If you've read my previous haircare posts, you'll already know that I'm a massive fan of Aussie Haircare. They've recently brought out a few new haircare products that I just had to get my hands on, and I opted for the Aussie Scent-Sational Smooth Conditioning Mist. A perfect product to use that gives your locks a shiny boost and add gloss to every strand. It promises to leave your hair smelling delightful with a 48h scent-sational fragrance. I can smell this so strongly when I brush through my hair and it lingers all day long.

Siliscrub Scalp Brush
Siliscrub Scalp Brush

Something that I recently saw on Instagram and decided that I needed to see what all the hype is was the Siliscrub Scalp Brush. At first I thought this was a bit of a gimmick product, but after a few tries, I actually really enjoyed using it. It's built to exfoliate and cleanse the scalp, boost hair growth, eliminate dandruff, and get rid of scalp troubles. It uses soft silicone bristles to brush over the scalp whilst shampooing, and helps you to maintain a healthy scalp by gently lifting away dead skin cells and impurities, and increasing blood flow. It feels like a deep head massage and is the best way to shampoo your hair. It left my hair feeling a lot cleaner and much bouncier. I managed to get around 4 days without washing. I also noticed that my hair had less product build up in the roots, and didn't get greasy/oily as quick.

L'oreal Dream Lengths Heat Mask
L'Oréal Dream Lengths Heat Mask

After discovering my love for the L'Oréal Dream Lengths haircare range, when I saw that they had released a new innovative hair mask, I was all over it! The mask itself follows a 2 step system: Step 1: features a thick balm that you apply from root to tip and leaves the hair feeling immediately nourished. I like to comb the product through so I am sure all my hair is completely covered in the mask. Step 2: A tissue cap infused with a self-heating lotion. You can leave this on for around 10 minutes, or longer if you want a deeper condition. From the very first application, the results were incredible. Silky soft, beautiful hair! Even my dry ends were no more! Would highly recommend!

The Body Shop Banana Mask
The Body Shop Banana Mask

This absolute gem from The Body Shop has been my life saver this winter when it comes to haircare. It's been my go-to hair mask with amazing results after every single use. I tend to use this product once-a-week as a deep conditioning treatment, applying the Banana hair mask all over my hair, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends as this is where I see the most damage and dryness. Enriched with a blend of natural ingredients, including organic Banana puree from Ecuador and Brazil Nut oil from Peru. It leaves hair feeling intensely nourished from root-to-tip, banishes frizz and my hair looks instantly shinier and glossier, all without being weighed down. Another huge plus to this product is the scent. It takes me way back to my childhood of having Nesquik Banana milkshakes and foamy banana sweets. The smell is so fresh and fruity, it's insane.

What products are in your Winter haircare routine? What would you recommend for dry, heat damaged hair?

AD - GIFTED | In regards to beauty, haircare is something I have always been passionate about and something that I love to explore in terms of trying new brands and new products regularly. For reference, my hair is medium length, never dyed, natural dark blonde hair. In terms of texture, my hair isn't very fine and it isn't thick, somewhere in between, naturally quite straight with a few wavy areas, and I do suffer with some dryness from time to time in the mid-lengths and ends of my hair.

In collaboration with Panasonic beauty products uk*, I wanted to share some of my current favourite drugstore haircare products that will have your hair looking refreshed, silky soft and in tip-top condition!

L'oreal Paris Dream Lengths

L'Oréal Paris Dream Lengths Long Hair Shampoo, Conditioner & No Haircut Cream

A a trio of haircare products that have become a firm favourite of mine and a recent addition into my haircare routine. Designed for those with long, damaged hair, the Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner work like a treat for my hair. Enriched with Keratin, Vitamins and Castor Oil; this is the perfect combination to help protect hair against breakage and split ends.

The No Haircut Cream is a total game-changer. The consistency is quite thick, but not too heavy on the hair, so it doesn't weigh it down at all. I use the No Haircut Cream on my mid-lengths and ends of my hair, and I find the product absorbs quickly without any residue. It protects my hair from the use of hair dryers and straighteners, as well we the weather outside. So if you've not tried it yet, it's definitely one to give a go!

This primer is formulated by 100% natural ingredients, which in turn shields hair from brush and heat damage, as well as protecting from UV Rays and pollution. This powerful cream is great to tame any fine flyaway hairs, to smooth thick hair and help protect hair from heat styling. It conditions the hair quite well, I use this primer on the ends of my hair after washing and you can see and feel visible effects even after few uses.

Beauty and Lifestyle February Favourites

Rogue by Rihanna has quickly become one of my go-to perfumes.
"Capturing the mischievous nature that lies within every modern woman, ROGUE by Rihanna has a bold yet flirty composition. Top notes of flirty Lemon Blossom and Cyclamen are mixed with Bergamot and spiced with Pink Peppercorn. The aroma evolves with Jasmine, Rose and Muguet fused together with Juicy Plum and seductive Suede. Warm notes of Sandalwood, Patchouli and Golden Amber accompanied by decadent Vanilla and sensual Musk create a bold ending."  Whenever I wear it, I always get compliments and people asking me what scent I am wearing. 9 times out of 10 they cant believe it when I say its by Rihanna. I would definitely recommend you giving this one a sniff, its so fresh and dark, somewhat sexy. A must have day to night fragrance!

This month I've been addicted to Prison Break, an American serial drama television series. "The series revolves around two brothers. One brother has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name." I remember a long time ago watching the first season and not continuing! So February saw me basically binge watching this show. Episode after episode, I just cant keep away! If its nothing something you've seen, I'd definitely recommend. It's so captivating, interesting and easy to watch, you'll definitely be hooked on this show!

In terms of make up, there have been a couple of products that I have been reaching for more often this month and have been really enjoying using. First up is Maybelline's Brow Satin in Dark Blonde. A duo brow product featuring a waxy pencil and a powdered sponge, application is super easy and I feel that the colour is a really good match to my natural brow colour. It adds a good amount of colour, nothing too OTT, giving a very subtle, natural brow which I think is perfect for everyday. Secondly, I've been loving using the Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Mascara, especially as a bottom lash mascara. It adds length, volume and definition to the lashes, making them look very sleek and defined without the clumps, which is something I look for in a mascara. I HATE CLUMPS!

A haircare favourite this month has been the Aussie Winter Miracle Shampoo and Conditioner. As a huge Aussie lover, when I saw this range in Superdrug, I knew I had to snap it up and give it a go. The harsh cold weather we have been having hasn't done my hair the best of favours, but this  haircare duo has helped banish dry ends and frizz, helping me to achieve healthier, nourished looking hair. If you're looking for some new haircare, I would suggest Aussie 100%. They have a range for all hair types, are super affordable and smell absolutely gorgeous!

After receiving my February Degustabox this month, I received a bottle of the VITHIT Apple and Elderflower Drink, and it was absolutely delicious! "Vit Hit - The Juice based soft drink with 100% Recommended Daily Allowance of 8 different vitamins, no added sugar and with fewer than 35 calories per bottle. With health giving teas and minerals for overall well being Vit Hit contains real juice and no preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings." It was so refreshing and was something I would never usually pick up in a supermarket, so I was pleasantly surprised!

Lastly, a lip care product. I seem to always lose my lip balms and when I really need them, they just disappear and I cannot find them anywhere. Anyone else find this happens to them? Saying that, the cold weather has been really drying out my lips so I needed something to moisturise them ASAP, which is where I popped into Superdrug and picked up the Cocoa Butter Vaseline. It was super cheap and I know it will do the job, unless I lose it again!

What have been your favourites?

So, I've seen lots and lots of bloggers post about their favourite products of 2013, including there favourite and most used hair care products, instead of jumping on that bandwagon, I've wanted to share with you all my Current Hair Care Heroes. When I had come up with the idea of this post, I did realise that I do actually use quite a few hair products, so I have split this little guide into two separate posts.

My hair is naturally quite thick and wavy, sometimes dry,  as well as being long ( below my shoulders), so keeping it looking strong and healthy can be quite the chore. But I think I have found some great, affordable products that help tame and nourish my hair! (products were bought in either Boots or Superdrug) So let's get started with part 1, and take a look at my styling and protecting products!

Haircare Heroes
(Products from left to right)
THIS ONE Light Hair Oil
This is the first sort of hair oil I have ever used, and after getting through quite a lot of the product, I am very impressed with how nourished, shiny and healthy my hair looks and feels. This oil is very lightweight and very smoothing on the hair, so you don't get product build up, tames frizz and fly aways, as well as helps to strengthen and moisturise the hair. I generally use this oil on freshly washed hair, when its 90% dry, on the lengths and the ends, to help prevent dryness, split ends and frizz, and it seems to work a treat!

THIS ONE Light Hair Oil contains a blend various oils, including, Moroccan Argan Oil, Brazilian Pequi Oil and Jojoba Oil, which helps to protect, nourish, maintain shine and improve frizz and smoothness of your hair. The packaging is simple and practical, featuring a gorgeous deep purple colour, very lightweight and easily transportable, perfect for those going away on holiday or weekends away. The bottle features a pump, which is perfect for depositing the right amount to use on your hair, so there's no waste and it doesn't spill everywhere. The oil has a lovely, pleasant smell. It has a gorgeous sweet and slightly nutty scent, which is a lovely feature as some hair care oils can smell quite chemically or just not very nice in general.

As for if I would repurchase this hair oil again, I've been very impressed with how its helped to keep my hair nourished and moisturised. Its very long lasting, as you only need 1 or 2 pumps, and it smells great. Another great feature is that all THIS ONE's hair products are suitable for all hair types, as well as coloured hair, so I'm sure you'll find something you love from the range. As I previously said, this is the first hair oil that I've used, so I would definitely like to try others, but THIS ONE has definitely become a hair care hero!

THIS ONE Blow Dry Spray
I only bought this product 1 or 2 months ago, but it has definitely helped with the maintenance of my hair. I've never used a blow dry spray before, so I literally had no idea what to expect, but again I've been impressed with this product. THIS ONE Blow Dry Spray is a lightweight heat protection, that helps keep your hair protected for up to 220°C, perfect for those times you want to straighten or curl your hair, and obviously blow dry. This Blow Dry Spray also helps to tame frizz, helps strengthen and smooth, without weighing your hair down, or causing any product build up.

THIS ONE Blow Dry Spray contains a blend of conditioning ingredients, including Rice Bran Oil which is known to protect hair against dryness and damage, as well as Wheat Protein, Panthenol and a UV filter. Similar to the Hair Oil, the bottle is a great size for travelling, again features the gorgeous purple colour, and has a gorgeous sweet, slightly floral scent to it. I generally use this spray on freshly washed hair, when its 90% dry, spray through the lengths of my hair, as well as a little spray on the roots to help add a little volume.

This product definitely is worth trying out! Its so affordable, long lasting, smells gorgeous and helps to maintain, protect, nourish and add some volume to your hair. Again, this product is suitable for all hair types and coloured hair, so if you haven't ever tried a Blow Dry Spray before, I'd recommend you try this product! As this is the first Blow Dry Spray I've used, its not something that you generally need to include in your hair care routine, but I have really noticed a difference in my hairs appearance since using this!

TRESemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray
I've been using this Heat Defence Styling Spray for years, I have tried quite a few over the years, but this is something I always go back to, as it is great for keeping your hair protecting when straightening or curling, up to 230°C! I've recently finished my full size, large bottle of this, which you can find here, so having to use up all my travel size miniatures at the moment! This Heat Defence spray also helps to smooth any frizz and enhance/seal in shine!

I like to use the TRESemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray on freshly washed, damp hair, making sure I spray liberally from root to tip, making sure all my hair is covered, ready for any heat styling. With using this product for such a long time, I have noticed my hair is less dry, less brittle and I haven't seen as much brittleness and split ends. Again, having the little travel size bottle is great for travelling, its lightweight and just practical! travel size bottles are also great for trying out new products and seeing how you get on with them. As for the smell of the spray, it definitely smells like a hair product. Its not a smell that I personally love, I find it can be quite harsh and overwhelming, but I am willing to pursue with it,  as I know it works for my hair!

Overall, if you're looking for a reliable and affordable Heat Defence Spray that actually does what its meant to, I would definitely recommend this one. It helps to protect your hair from any heat damage and helps to keep your hair silky soft and shiny, even after straightening, blow drying and curling!

TRESemmé  Superior Hold Touchable Finish Hair Spray
Another travel sized product, that I absolutely adore. Once we've washed, dried and styled our locks, we all look for that hairspray to keep the style looking neat and tidy, long lasting and non sticky, and for me this is the perfect one!

I'm not someone who uses hairspray all the time, mainly if I'm going out and need my hair to look good, but I always like to use one that leaves my hair feeling soft and like there's no product in it. So this one is a winner for me, its quick drying, leaves your hair feeling light and not crispy and dry, and lasts all night! It also protects against humidity, frizz and fly-aways, and easily brushes out so you're not left with nasty, crispy hair!

As I previously said, I don't use hairspray that often, so a travel size bottle is a great product to have with me. Its small and practical for carrying around on a day to day basis! I've never had a problem with this hairspray and really like this one, so a definite recommendation would be in order! If you're someone who uses it everyday, I'm pretty sure it comes in a larger size bottle, so that would suit your needs better!

TRESemmé Split Remedy Leave in Treatment
Yet again, another TRESemmé product! This is something I've been using for around 4-5 months, and so far no problems and it seems to be preventing my hair from split ends! Its a lightweight sort of creamy formula, that I pump and massage into the ends of my hair, which just helps to protect and nourish your hair, to prevent breakage and damage.

Since using this product, I have noticed that the ends of my hair are less dry and brittle, much more smooth and silky than before. The product isn't greasy or oily, and smells lovely also! I simply massage a couple of pumps in freshly washed hair before blow drying and this seems to add moisture to my hair and make my hair more manageable and soft.

Its not a product that is really something that is a must have in a hair care routine, I think it just helps to keep your hair manageable and protected. It helps to protect and prevent your hair from any split ends and helps to keep your hair silky soft and shiny.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Lightweight Conditioning Spray
I absolutely love Aussie products, so this one is just one of my all time favourites! This conditioning spray basically helps to protect and detangle your hair after washing. It helps to get rid of any knots or tangles, whilst nourishing and strengthening your hair.

Like all Aussie products, this spray smells absolutely lovely! It contains Australian Jojoba Seed Oil, which is great for your hair, as it helps to protect your hair from everyday wear and tear, as well as detangling when brushing!  The simple spray pump helps you evenly distribute the product evenly throughout your hair, and is just so simple and quick to use. I simply use this after I've washed my hair, and its slightly dry, then spritz all over and comb through.

I absolutely loves this! I've gone through so many bottles! This product definitely is worth trying out, it's so affordable, smells gorgeous and helps to maintain, protect and nourish your hair! Aussie products are usually on special offers all the time, so this is just a product worth getting!

Batiste Tropical Dry Shampoo
Pretty sure this is nearly every blogger's favourite product, and its something that is literally a miracle worker! For someone with long hair, this dry shampoo comes in handy as you can last a couple more days before you need to wash your hair, which is great, as washing your hair too often can be damaging! I'd never really heard of dry shampoos before I started blogging, so discovering this has literally changed my hair care!

Batiste is so quick and easy to use, it helps to refresh and revitalise your hair inbetween washes, helps to remove any grease or oils, to help create a clean and fresh look, with some added volume and texture! So simple to use, simply spritz it over your roots, brush it through and you're good to go! You just have to be sure not to spray it too close or brush it thoroughly as it can leave your hair looking a little white.

There are various sizes you can purchase of this product which is great, as you can keep the smaller size in your handbag when you're on the go, and spritz in your hair when you need a little touch up! There are a variety of scents of the dry shampoo which is great if you're not a fan of the tropical scent, very reminiscent of a holiday sort of scent, smells of coconut that I absolutely love! So overall, I think this product is amazing! Definite repurchase! Everyone needs to own a can of this!

So there we have my current hair care heroes, that I use to style and protect my hair with! I do tend to stick to the same or similar products or brands, as I know that it seems to work with my hair and I like the smell/effects it gives to me.

I will be doing a similar post, where I shall be sharing my Hair Care Heroes that I use to wash, condition or treat my hair! So look out for that one!

What are your hair care heroes? What hair styling products are you currently using and loving? Have you tried any of the products I have featured today? Would you be interested in trying any I have featured?
