AD|When it comes to watching television, Netflix has always been my go-to place. A brilliant way of finding new programmes and series to watch, as well as finding films to watch, wherever you are in the world. Imagine sitting down, watching your favourite Netflix series on a huge 4K LED TV, Panasonic have some great ones. Isn't that the dream?! Perfect for having that big screen cinema in the comfort of your home, without having someone behind you munching their popcorn too loudly!

I'm always being recommended things to watch by my friends, and it's great that many TV Series have all the episodes uploaded, so you don't have to wait a dreaded long week for the newest episode to come out! I wanted to share some of my favourite Netflix series that I've already watched, currently watching and would like to watch.

Netflix Series

Previously, I've already watched a number of Netflix Series, that I would highly recommend. Firstly Suits; an American legal drama series set at a fictional law firm in New York City. The series follows college dropout Mike Ross, who works as a law associate for Harvey Spector, despite never going to law school.

Prison Break, one of the best things I have ever watched in my life. An American serial drama revolves around two brothers, Michael and Lincoln. One has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and the other who creates elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison. This series is simply mind-blowing, it has you hooked from the very first episode and one of my favourite televisions shows that I could re-watch over and over again.

A series that I have just completed is Power. An American crime drama set in New York, following the story of James St. Patrick aka Ghost. A man balancing his two lives of living as a successful nightclub owner and a ruthless drug-dealer. The show presents a glamorised view of a successful drug dealer as well as featuring themes of sex, violence, crimes, money, drugs and loyalty.

Netflix Series

Currently I'm watching Making A Murderer. This series is very gripping and I've been non-stop watching. I'm fully obsessed. Making a Murderer is an American documentary television series, exploring the story of a man named Steven Avery. The series shares Stevens story after he served 18 years in prison for the wrongful conviction of sexual assault and attempted murder.

Secondly NARCOS; an American crime drama series depicting the rise of the drugs trade in Colombia in the 1980s, based on the story of Pablo Escobar, who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine. It shares his story of an established black marketeer in Medellín, who found riches through moving trucks worth of illegal goods into Colombia during a time when this was strictly forbidden.

Netflix Series

Once I've finished my current series on Netflix, I want to begin watching the ever so hyped up 13 Reasons Why and Stranger Things. There has been a lot of talk about these two Netflix series and I can't wait to get started on them. All I've heard is good things!

13 Reasons Why; an American teen drama The series revolving around Clay Jensen, and his deceased friend Hannah Baker, who has committed suicide after failing to cope with the culture, gossip, and lack of support from her friends and her school. A box of tapes recorded by Hannah before her death detail thirteen reasons why she ended her life. Stranger Things; an American science fiction-horror series focuses on the investigation into the disappearance of a young boy amid supernatural events occurring around the fictional town of Hawkins in Indiana.

What have you been watching on Netflix recently? What series would you recommend?

AD| The COVID-19 outbreak has completely changed and dramatically complicated the dating game for the foreseeable future. If you’re single and dating, you’re no doubt facing special challenges during the current crisis when it comes to starting new relationships. Dating during these times has gone online and dating apps or websites have made it easier than ever for singles to get 'out' there and meet new people. Social distancing doesn’t have to mean disconnecting. Video chats are in. Small talk is out.

social distancing

As we see the UK and other countries easing out of lockdown, and slowly bringing about changes to the current social distancing measure put in place by the government. These measures allow you to meet others new people out in public whilst adhering to the rules. As there currently isn't any go ahead for going into other peoples homes and being more intimate with partners or new lovers, casual outdoor dates maybe the best option during the current coronavirus pandemic. From picnics in the local park, bike rides in the countryside and sunset beach walks to name a few, there is a never ending list of spontaneous yet romantic ideas for a socially distant outdoors date.

With social media growing faster than ever, single people are turning to dating apps for social connection and to find ways to continue to date during the current global crisis. Dating apps and free dating sites have been seeing staggering amounts of users registering more than ever during the lockdown phases. From Tinder, to Bumble, we love dates, and Hinge, to name a few, becoming more popular, these platforms have given people the chance to connect with people from all around the world, as well as their local area.

online dating coronavirus

Dating sites and apps are increasingly helping long distance couples to 'meet' safely via video calling or voice calling, helping you to grow closer and connect more with your partner. Couples are now more likely to form a relationship through online, where they can talk and virtually 'hang out' at any time and any place. With the coronavirus lockdowns, many single people now have more time to spend really getting to know someone on a more deeper level, rather than just focusing on what they look like in real life.

The idea of virtual dates can really help bring new couples closer together and help form a more emotional bond, instead of a physical one. Whether you order the same takeaway or cook the same new recipe from the comfort of your own homes. Netflix and Chill? Why not! You can video call each other, watch the same Netflix show from your own homes and have a relaxing, comfortable night in knowing that you're both doing the same thing. If that's not really your vibe, there are plenty of other virtual date ideas to choose from and you can get as creative as you like. There's definitely less pressure when using dating sites, especially for those who get nervous easily or feel self conscious, as these methods of dating allow you to feel relaxed in your own home and allow you to be yourself, whilst talking to potential love interests.

How has dating during coronavirus changed for you? What other changes can we see?

AD| Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. These could include physical disabilities, learning disabilities or sensory disabilities as a few examples, where some can be much more noticeable than others. Dating can be an extremely complicated and complex for anyone, but socially, dating with disabilities is rarely spoken about, but the Single Disabled YouTube channel is a great source of information for those who want to understand more about disability dating.

Many individuals may feel embarrassed to discuss what problems they have to deal with, and may struggle when it comes to dating and meeting new people. Nowadays, many date night locations are catering for disabled singles in a number of ways including, features such as step free access, wheelchair ramps, large font menus and accessible toilets for a few examples.

RESTAURANT DATES

A indoors-styled date in comfort at home can be extremely romantic without the need to spend a lot of money. Having just the company of another people around allows the time spend together to feel more personal and intimate. Having a night in also allows you to set your own mood for the date and choose the atmosphere that is suitable for what you have planned for the afternoon/evening. It can be so much easier to adapt plans when you’re based at home as you won't feel rushed, you won't be late and you can take things ay your own pace, completely relax and enjoy yourself.

One of the most popular at-home date night ideas would obviously include some nice food and a few drinks. Whether you opt for a romantic candle lit dinner or a cheeky takeaway, you can relax with your date and enjoy some nice food together. It can also be quite a nice idea to cook together and enjoy each other's company in the kitchen and have a conversation over a lovely drink.

For those who want something super chilled and relaxed but find the cinema feels a tad overwhelming - grab some drinks, get some snacks/popcorn and enjoy a movie/Netflix night at home. This will allow you to spend some time together in a more comfortable environment, where you can pick some of your favourite films to watch together or even start a new Netflix series.

For those who like a little competition, games and quizzes are the perfect at-home date night idea, especially if there aren't any accessible place near you. Why not host your own? Board games, video games or online quizzes are ideal for those wanting something extremely fun but laid back.

date night ideas

Getting outdoors and enjoying some time out of the house can be quite scary for those who are unsure about places that cater for disabled individuals, especially for those who find their disability really affecting their confidence. However, many outdoors locations are now making sure everyone can use their facilities, and making them as user friendly as they can for everyone.

A perfect 'break the ice' type of date is a trip to the cinema can be an extremely fun, and less nerve-racking style date. It allows you to watch a film that you're both interested in, get used to just being in each other’s company and will give you something to talk about after. Many cinemas feature screenings with subtitles, accessible wheelchair spaces, and usually feature all of their accessibility information available on their websites, making it very easy for disabled singles to plan a trip to their local screening.

Visiting attractions such as aquariums, museums and art galleries are great date locations for when you're not sure what to do but want to go out and find something enjoyable to do together. Whether you're into sport, nature, music, art, science or history, there is something for everyone, making this a great idea for a spontaneous date idea. The good thing is you can go at your own pace and explore all the different activities/exhibitions available at your chosen destination. As well as being great accessible and wheelchair friendly date locations, these types of venues usually cater to other forms of disabilities such as deafness or blindness. You will often find they will have some form of written guide book/ or audio guide to help discover the amazing works at these date destinations.

Finally, for something a little more intimate but still super chilled, a lovely picnic in the park or along the beach front could be exactly what you need. This type of date is much less intimidating than a candle-lit meal at a restaurant, so you will be able to feel comfortable and relaxed, whilst enjoying the fresh air and the lovely views. Being outdoors is extremely calming and refreshing, especially for those feeling nervous whilst dating, getting outside can really uplift your mood and make you less nervous. Whilst being out in public, something like a picnic isn't too overwhelming as you can set up your spot away from others to ensure you can enjoy your time peacefully and will give you the chance to talk about anything.

Have you been on any dates recently? What other date night ideas do you have/would you like to go on??

AD| Over the last year the pandemic has seen the majority of workers across the world begin working from home, turning kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms into office spaces. This new way of working has led to many organisations adopting a hybrid working approach, or completely shutting down their offices. With working from home definitely here to stay, it is important to make sure you switch off after the working day to ensure your mental and physical health is not affected.

Here’s 4 ways to switch off when working from home, allowing you to make the most of your home life; from exercising to socialising, there’s plenty of ways to unwind.

WORK FROM HOME

1.Get active
Once the working day is over, unwind by getting active. Whether you hate the thought of working out, or simply can’t find the motivation, push yourself and find the time to unwind after working. Exercising can be very beneficial if you work from home, as it gets your body moving after being stuck at a desk all day. It also increases your endorphin levels, resulting in a positive effect on your mental health.

If you’re looking for some inspiration on how to get started, you'll find plenty of workout videos available on fitness apps and YouTube. Alternatively, get a gym membership which will give you the opportunity to get out the house and socialise, providing more benefits in regards to your mental and physical health.

2.Enjoy the outdoors
After a long day you may be tempted to settle down on the sofa and watch Netflix for the evening, but you’ll feel much better by going on a walk to enjoy the outdoors and taking a break from your screen. One of the key benefits of working from home is the lack of commuting, so as soon as you finish work, put on your walking socks and grab your boots to step outside for a lovely walk with your loved ones and take advantage of the fresh air. Alternatively, take a stroll at lunch time to give yourself a break in the middle of the day or in the morning before work to wake up and refresh your mind for the day. Challenge yourself by using a step counter on your phone or smart watch to push yourself even further.

3.Create a workspace
It can be difficult to switch off when you work from home, especially if your desk is located in a room where you spend most of your free time whilst you’re at home. It’s highly recommended that you set up a home workspace away from your bedroom and living room so you have a healthy balance between work, sleep and play. You should also set up a sustainable working environment by treating yourself to a comfortable chair and spacious desk which is suitable for your needs.

4.Be sociable
If you spend the whole week working from home, it’s important to socialise as you’re missing out on the social interactions of office life (apart from the occasional video chat!) Ensure you plan activities to look forward to each weekend, no matter how big or small they are, so you’re spending time with other people. Planning activities of an evening can also give you something to look forward to at the end of the working day and help take your mind away from work.

If you're looking for evening activities, try going to the gym or an exercise class, video chatting friends or family and going out for dinner. During the weekend you could go out for a meal and drinks, take a trip to the cinema or do something different and host a garden party to enjoy the sunshine with your friends and family.

Start following these tips today to help plan your life so you can switch off and relax outside of your working hours and make the most of your evenings and weekends.

How do you switch off if you are currently working from home? Do you have any favourite hobbies or activities?

AD| When you're already on a low income and a tight budget, it's extremely hard to find additional ways to save money for the future. Sometimes we need to take a step back and make notes of all our incoming and outcoming expenses to see where our money is really going and to see if there is anything we can cut out.

MONEY SAVING

Firstly, in order to be aware of the money going in and out of your account, it's important that you manage your household budget to see exactly where you money is going. At the beginning of every month, you can write out your total income, with a list of all your expenses for the month, including things like food, travel and bills. By doing this you can easily see where your money is going and will be able to see if there are certain areas you can reduce the amount of money you're spending, to help put some extra cash into your savings.

Making sure to write your weekly shopping lists is an essential routine that will help you stick to what you need and you won't be tempted to pick things up that are unnecessary. By being strict on your purchases, you will only be spending money on things that are necessary to be purchased, and you will be less likely to impulse buy when out and about. Before going out to the shops, I would recommend looking through your cupboards, fridge and freezer so you are aware of items that you already have, and you will be able to make into meals throughout the week, only adding any additional products you may require to your list. Within your shopping list, you could also make it into a weekly meal plan so you know what you'll be eating for each meal. By doing this, not only do you follow a strict plan, but it will also stop you from over-buying and picking up items that you definitely don't need.

Decided it's time you had a clear out? Selling your unwanted items will not only free up some storage space in your home, but it can also earn you a bit of money that you can use towards your savings or any outstanding bills. If you're a clothes hoarder, there's most likely going to be at least one item that you don't like anymore stored away in your wardrobe that someone else will love. You can put unwanted items up for sale on websites like eBay, Depop and Facebook Marketplace, in hope of attracting attention of buyers for your goods.

Another way to cut costs and to make big savings on things like insurance is by using price comparison websites. Protect Your Family is a one-stop-shop for your insurance needs, covering everything from breakdown cover, to funeral planning and home emergency insurance. Comparison websites are extremely useful when browsing online for the best quotes and pricing of everyday insurance categories, as they essentially do all the hard work for you. You simply fill in a short questionnaire with your details, and all the best deals are sent your way.

As well as price comparison for insurance purposes, there are also these kinds of websites for energy suppliers. You can start saving money by switching to a cheaper energy supplier when your current contract or tariff is about to expire. There are over 50 energy suppliers in the UK to choose from, so switching suppliers can be extremely overwhelming if you aren't familiar with the companies. Many websites offer electricity and gas supplier reviews which will help you consider your best options for your home, allows you to see the pros and cons of each company, and give you everything you need to quickly assess if an energy supplier is right for you before you switch.

Finally, something worth looking into is cancelling any unnecessary direct debits or subscriptions. Things like TV extras, gym, meal delivery services, music or software – there’s a growing list of things you can access via subscription services. Whether you're paying for that monthly beauty box or Netflix, as a few examples, sometimes they aren't worth the money, especially if you aren't using or watching them. If you’re looking to cut back on your money spending and trying to start saving extra cash, managing your subscriptions can be the best place to start. Do you really need the subscription? Can I begin using a cheaper alternative? There are so many different ways to cut costs with these types of services that it's definitely worth looking into.

How do you save money? Do you have any other tips or tricks?

AD| Staying connected with others is extremely important, especially during the current times of living during a global pandemic, not only for maintenance/growth of your relationships/friendships, but also for your mental health and wellbeing. Trying to stay in touch can be quite difficult during the current lockdown, but technology is saving us and we are able to get online and try to maintain a normal lifestyle.

Hosting a virtual date during lockdown is one way of staying connected with significant people in your life. It allows us to interact on a more personal level and is a way of having fun things to do together that can help you to keep your close relationships, without being together.

lockdown virtual dating

Long distance/being way from a partner, friends or new potential love interest can be a hard, but you can also make it an easier and more fun experience by coming up with cute and creative virtual date ideas. So whether you're dating in your local area, London dating, Hampshire dating, or anywhere else in the UK, or even if you just want to share these ideas with your close friends, these date ideas can help you stay connected and together during the current lockdown.

1. Movie Nights - The first virtual date idea is to watch the same film at the same time. This can feel like you're together but you're not. You can experience the same thoughts/feelings whilst watching, and you can even share the same snacks to make it feel more real. You could also make it really cosy in your homes, some fairy lights and chunky blankets would be perfect! This type of date can be done at anytime of the day, plus you can both choose your favourite genre of film, so it's a perfect online date to see you through lockdown.

2. At Home Date Nights - Another creative virtual date idea would be to have a dinner and drinks night from the comfort of your own homes. For this, you cook together, order the same takeaway or even order food for each other all via facetime/video calling. If this is something you do every so often, you could even get glammed up and make the date night super special and as normal as it can be whilst still in lockdown.

3. Take Up New Hobbies - From learning new skills to flexing your creative talents, using your time in lockdown to engage in your hobbies can be great for your mental health. Sharing hobbies like painting, drawing, and reading for example, can be extremely calming and relaxing during such uncertain times with lockdown. It's also a great way to explore and enjoy different activities that you may have not tried before or simply just didn't have no times for in your normal daily routine.

4. Play Games Online - To add some excitement into the long lockdown days, playing games online can be a really fun way of killing some time. Especially if you're really competitive, you could make this a regular thing in your weekly schedule and play for prizes or treats, just to keep things fun and uplifting during quite a tough time for everyone.

5. Netflix - Now, would it really be lockdown if you aren't binge watching some new shows or series? Why not share this viewing time with someone else, and watch the same shows together. This will also give you a chance to talk in depth about what you're watching and allow you to see what the other persons likes watching. You never know, you might find something you wouldn't usually choose to watch, and really enjoy it!

What ways have you been staying connected during lockdown?

Here's a quick look at my monthly favourites!

October favourites

A new addition to my perfume collection over the last couple of months has been the Thierry Mugler Alien. It's been the only perfume I have been wearing. It has such a fresh, and deep scent, it's quite mysterious as I can't fully pinpoint what combination of smells it has combined within the fragrance. To me, it has bursting floral and woody aromas, that really work together to make a great feminine fragrance.

Carmex Lip Balm has been my lifesaver over the last month. Now that we are heading into the colder months of the year, this product is something I can't be without! I have 2 or 3 in my bag at all times. It's been one of the only lip balm products to fully moisturise and relieves my lips from the cold weather.

The Lee Stafford Nourishing Argan Oil Hair Dryer has been a recent purchase of mine, and I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner. My hair has definitely had a huge appearance and texture boost since using this and I know it will be perfect to keep my hair in good condition for the colder months ahead. Infused with Moroccan Argan oil helps to add a radiant shine, improved condition and protects against the use of heat. The hair dryer also comes with 2 speed and 3 temperature settings. I've also noticed that it takes very little time nowadays to dry my hair, which is great as I don't know anyone who actually likes do dry their hair! A definite must have!

Something new that I've tried this month has been the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Heat Protection Spray. As a huge haircare lover, I never usually use the same heat protection spray as I like to try out as many as I can, but this one from Lee Stafford has been amazing to use. Enriched with Coconut Oil, one of the best natural ingredients to help nourish and condition the hair, this lightweight spray has made detangling my hair the easiest thing in the world. With towel-dried hair, I like to spritz this spray all over my hair and gently brush through. This leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling super soft, as well as leaving a hint of coconut scent!

I recently post about my Netflix recommendations, and I featured the series Making A Murderer. Since this post went live, Making A Murdered has now launched part 2 of the documentary and I'm obsessed. This series is very gripping and I've been non-stop watching. It's definitely something you need to watch if you haven't already!

Lately, I've been obsessed with buying Primark Pyjamas, especially the £10 Disney sets. I've picked up a couple of Lilo & Stitch pyjamas, but my favourites have definitely been The Lion King. The pyjamas are so soft and super comfortable, you forget you even have anything on! I also love the fact the pyjama bottoms are usually cuffed, as these are my preferred style of trouser. Very affordable and very cute!

What are you favourites this month?

AD - GIFTED | How long has it been since you've had a relaxing pamper night? Especially with the current lockdown and everything going on in the world, it's extremely important to take a step back and enjoy some time to yourself, and there's nothing better than a self care pamper evening. Obviously one of the most relaxing and unwinding things to do is have a nice hot bath/shower, but there are a few other steps you can take for the ultimate pamper. So treat yourself today by checking my list of self-care tips to get inspired.

winter drugstore skincare

1. First things first, skincare. Is there anything better than taking your makeup off after a long day, and just feeling extremely refreshed and revitalized. I like to use a hot cloth cleanser to take off any makeup, as its extremely gentle on the eyes for those who wear mascara, eyeliner or eyeshadow. I would then opt for a facial exfoliator, or a face wash with my cleansing brush, for a deeper clean, even followed up by a face mask for that super skin detox. This leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. Finishing up with any products that I would use in my skincare routine, depending on my current skin needs. During the winter time, I'm ALL about hydration and getting that skin glow. Moisturising creams, serums, oils are winter essentials, and don't forget that lip balm!

winter haircare

2. Next up, haircare. Washing, drying and styling your hair can seem like such a chore, but applying a luxurious hair mask beforehand makes it so much more worthwhile. Hair masks that make my hair silky, smooth and shiny are my absolute must haves, as well as leaving my hair smelling delicious. I make sure to brush my hair thoroughly before applying my hair mask, and make sure each strand is covered from root to tip, and leave it to get to work for as long as possible, sometimes even overnight! I've also recently added the OGX Kukui Oil duo and The Hair Boss Overnight Serum to my haircare routine, and my hair has never looked better. So soft, nourished and super shiny.

3. After having a nice warm, relaxing bath/shower, it's a must have to put on some super cosy and comfy loungewear/pyjamas. Oversized is a must have as there is nothing worse than tight, uncomfortable clothing. I recently posted some super comfy loungewear finds from FemmeLuxe - think oversized joggers and cute matching co-ords!

4. Creating a cosy environment is an essential part of making your evening super relaxing and calm. Make sure to be lighting some candles, grabbing all the fluffy blankets and cushions, you could even hang up some cute fairy lights. Having a cosy environment around you can help to de-stress and give you a break from your daily routine.

organic india teas

5. Something that I've been including recently in my pamper routine is making a warm, relaxing drink. I've really been enjoying the Organic India Teas* and found these to really help destress and unwind during the colder evenings. My favourite is definitely the Tulsi Pomegranate Green Tea*. Infused with Pomegranate and Hibiscus flowers and the tangy flavour of Raspberries is a delightful combination and the perfect drink to have in the evenings. Tulsi is a great addition as it rich in antioxidants and can help to boost your immune system. The Organic India Teas are extremely relaxing, warming and delicious, and a must try for those who love green tea or even if you want a break from the usual coffee, tea or hot chocolate!

6. One part of your self care evening should be treating yourself to your favourite foods and drinks. There's nothing more comforting than ordering/making your favourite dishes, followed with a glass of your favourite drink to lift your spirits. There's so many great choices, whether you're a lover of pasta, pizza, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, the options are never ending, and there is always food to fit your mood.

7. Finally, get comfy and sit back and watch your favourite films/series. Whether you pick something from Netflix, Disney+, YouTube or just something on the TV, it's the perfect way to spend the rest of your evening. I'm currently watching Orange Is The New Black, and I'm hooked!

What are your self care pamper essentials?

AD| In the current times of uncertainty during the global COVID-19 pandemic, and the UK still facing some lockdown rules and restrictions, many single people are increasingly feeling lonely. From missing out on social interaction and finding it hard to talk to new people, but dating during these times and whilst observing social distancing shouldn't be too hard and there are plenty of ways to get your love life back on track with a few simple ideas.

social media dating

Social media usage is one of the most popular online activities, and a great invention to use if you're stuck at home during the lockdown period. You can do so many things at just a few clicks of the mouse, it's a perfect way to date when observing social distancing.

Something that is a perfect way to interact with your dates, or new-found relationships is through Facetime and video calls. These features are allowing users to interact without ever having to meet, and such calls can be made from any place at any time, making them increasingly convenient during the current circumstances. A video call before meeting in real life could be very helpful for many, especially for those lacking in confidence or those wanting to make sure they have picked the right person.

Another creative idea on dating during times of social distancing includes virtual dates. Whether you watch the same Netflix show together at the same time, cook the same meal over video, or even order each other your favourite takeaway and send it to the other one house. There are so many ways social media can help keep the spark alive during lockdown, what other ways can you think of?

Dating apps and websites have also been a helpful tool for those who find it hard and lack confidence with meeting people. Places like Tinder, Bumble, Aberdeen dating site, and Hinge, to name a few, have really helped single people to make new friends during this lockdown period. These dating apps and websites are usually free and very quick to set up, places like www.dateaberdeensingles.co.uk can be set up in minutes, making it even quicker to meet your match!

Following a recent speech from PM Boris Johnson, lockdown measures are slowly being loosened to the point where individuals are now allowed to meet up with one person outside of their household. This could be a great opportunity for single people to go on a social distancing date, respecting the 2-metre rule of distancing in public places set out by the government.

Social Distance Dating

A few good suggestions would be scenic park walks and indulgent picnics. This could be a very good first date opportunity as being outside can be very relaxing and calming for some, as well as dining on some really nice picnic snacks, what could possibly go wrong? Or for the more sporty of the singletons, a nice bike ride in the countryside could also be a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air, as well as getting in some exercise and bonding time with your date.

What other creative ways have you tried or know about with dating whilst observing social distancing rules?

AD - GIFTED | Living in joggers ATM? Me too! I've ditched the jeans in favour for joggers, sweatshirts, hoodies and leggings. Of course, loungewear is more popular and more available than ever, now that we are again being advised to spend more time at home in light of coronavirus pandemic. And, with many of us working from home or furloughed, it's important we're all as comfortable as possible during such uncertain times, as well as keeping warm during the colder months of the year. For me, loungewear is the epitome of comfort; you can still feel cute, casual and comfy, whilst looking super stylish and put together. Loungewear might be basic, but it's definitely not boring! There's so many cute styles and sets available, you'll be wanting something in every colour and your wardrobe will be filling up in no time at all!

Outfit 2 - Is there anything cuter than a matching co-ord lounge set? If tie dye and oversized is your vibe, then you're gonna need to get your hands on this asap! This grey tie dye loungewear set* is so soft and slightly more fitted to the body, you could even wear these as a pyjama set. You could even wear this out of the house too! Simply pair with an oversized black puffer coat and some chunky trainers, and you're good to go!

Tan Cuffed Joggers FemmeLuxe
Outfit 3 - For this outfit, I kept things quite neutral and styled the outfit around similar colour tones. Nudes and browns are everywhere these days, and definitely some of the top colours of the autumn/winter season. I've teamed a simple nude sleeveless bodysuit with some tan oversized joggers*, for that casual off-duty look. To add some warmth to the outfit, I've paired it with a neutral checked shacket which are super on-trend right now, and perfect for those slightly warmer, autumnal days when you don't need a super warm coat.

Stone High Waisted Seam Cuffed Joggers FemmeLuxe
Outfit 4 - Again, another simple outfit. You can't go wrong with an oversized sweat and some joggers for the perfect WFH outfit.. On this occasion, I've gone for something slightly different. These high waisted joggers* have a seam running down them, which just adds some interested to the outfit, and helps to elongate the legs. A simple slogan sweat is a must have, and this green colour is absolutely gorgeous! Team this with a pair of slippers for at home, or a gorgeous, thick teddy coat and trainers for when you're popping out.

So whether you're looking for some WFH outfit inspo, or are simply on the hunt for some casual, comfy and super affordable loungewear, I hope this post has given you that much needed inspiration. I know I definitely want to fill my wardrobe with loads more joggers and sets. You can never have too many!

Which outfit is your favourite? Have you shopped at FemmeLuxe?
