AD - GIFTED | Putting together a stocking for your friends/girlfriend, your sisters or female relatives shouldn't be a hard task as there are endless possibilities as to what to include. As seen in my Men's Gift Guide for this year, I chose 5 items to include in that. However, for my Women's version, narrowing it down to 5 was simply impossible! It's that time of the year where we start browsing for gifts for our friends and family, and realising some people are harder to buy for than others. For me, I have three brothers, and finding gifts that will suit each of them is extremely difficult! However, I've managed to find five gifts from the high street that I think would make great stocking fillers for the men in your life.

Gift 1 - Novelty Socks

Socks can definitely be that present men really hate and it can seem quite boring receiving them at Christmas, but in all honesty, they are definitely an essential gift for any man. It's something you wear everyday, so it's something practical that will come in handy. There's nothing wrong with just getting some basic socks as gifts, but I've chosen some novelty pairs from H&M to make the gift of receiving socks from Christmas a little bit funnier. My personal favourite is the cute Christmassy avocado pair!

Gift 2 - The Emoji Game

Something to get stuck into and lift the mood is fun party game for the whole family. After all the presents have been opened and you're waiting to tuck into Christmas Dinner, The Emoji Game would be a super cool gift to keep the festive cheer going all day long. The emoji card game is all about collecting a complete set of five emoji cards in your hand. Gift 3 - 2020 Diary

Thirdly, a brand new diary is the perfect way to help the men in your life get organised and ready for the new year ahead. This simple, yet sleek designed diary is something I picked up from The Works for a super affordable price of just £1.50, so if you're only a tight budget, this could be a great gift! You could also take it that extra step further and write some notes or events for specific dates that they can look forward to in the future.

Gift 4 - Chocolate

If there is ANY gift that should be included in a Christmas stocking, it's definitely Chocolate! There are so many varieties out there, that there is something for everyone. I picked up these two blocks of chocolate from ALDI, and they look so luxurious and delicious, and only cost £1.65 each! Absolute bargain and they come in a variety of flavours.

AD - GIFTED | When it comes to online shopping and styling outfits, I always pick pieces that I know I will be comfortable in, but still look cute and like I made an effort. Whilst browsing the Femme Luxe website, I managed to find 4 items of clothing that I would wear for when I need a casual and comfortable outfit for the day ahead. I've chosen pieces that I feel are must-have wardrobe essentials, that would suit all sizes and shapes.

Whether you're lounging about at home, popping to the shop, out with the girls or even heading to the airport, I think I've put together 4 super casual yet super stylish outfits.

Black Digits Printed Slogan Oversized T-Shirt Dress - Adele*

Everyone loves a good T Shirt Dress. They are the perfect outfit go-to when you don't really know what to wear. Dressed up with heels. Dressed down with trainers. It's the perfect centrepiece for any casual and comfortable outfit. Pair with some simple accessories and you're good to go. I've opted to add a belt to help add some shape to the outfit and really cinch it in towards my waist, as without it I think it's slightly too baggy for me and doesn't flatter the body too much. In terms of footwear, I would wear some classic old skool vans to tie in the monochrome colour scheme, which I think just make this look more sporty and stylish. Just a perfect everyday outfit that's super quick and easy, and you still look great.

I am all about comfort. Sometimes way little too much. I love loungewear; joggers, t-shirts and hoodies are my go-to when I'm chilling at home. An Oversized Hoodie screams 100% comfort. The perfect clothing item for when you want to ditch the tight clothes and just want to be cosy and lounge around the house. Teamed up with some cycle shorts, leggings, joggers or jeans, as well as a good pair of chunky trainers and you have a super casual outfit for when you just need to pop to the shops or even the perfect airport outfit. A great off duty look for the girl that loves comfort over style.

Navy Rolled Sleeves Shirt Dress - Noa*

An item of clothing for that perfect smart casual look is a simple Shirt Dress. Another wardrobe must-have that can also be dressed up or down, and you still look like you made an effort with your outfit choice. Shirt dresses are made for day-to-day dressing, they are so versatile in terms of styling, as they suit all body types, shapes and sizes. I picked out the Navy Shirt Dress which I think is a colour that would suit all skin tones, and is also a very classic and more formal colour. The shirt dress comes with a material belt that helps draw in your waist to help accentuate your figure and really bring you in at your smallest point. I would definitely team this dress with some trainers for a more casual daytime outfit or a pair of heels if you're going out for the night, depending on the look you are going for. It's the perfect dress for your next date night as well. Super cute yet super classy sophisticated.

Khaki Loungewear Tracksuit Set*

Finally, you can't get anymore casual with a simple Loungewear Set. Loungewear is the perfect choice for when you want to be cosy and comfortable at home. A super relaxed slim fit style but still looking cute, what more could you want? I probably wouldn't wear this Femme Luxe set out of the house, I'll just keep it for my pyjama collection. Thrown on with some cute slippers or fluffy sliders and you got the perfect chilling outfit.

Overall, I was really impressed with both the sizing and the quality of the pieces I picked from the Femme Luxe site. I think my favourite outfit would definitely be the Oversized T Shirt Dress. It's probably the easiest and most comfortable outfit I have put together and it still looks like you made a huge effort with your outfit. You can dress it up or dress it down, making it such a versatile piece for your wardrobe, whether you need a daytime or evening outfit.

AD - GIFTED | With Spring in full force and Summer on its way, I've switched up my skincare routine. I've ditched my heavy moisturisers and serums and opted to use lighter products on my skin. I've currently been using the Sonya Daily Skincare System to help prep and maintain my skin for the warmer months ahead.

There are some great benefits in each of the skin-enhancing products, including;

Probably my favourite product from the collection, leaving my skin feeling super clean without stripping it of moisture. The cleanser had a gentle lather which is great for for combination skin. From the very first use, my skin was feeling so smooth and clean after every wash.

The Refining Gel Mask* was a dream to use as part of my evening skincare routine. Infused with carrot seed oil, basil oil, artemisia pallens flower oil and soybean oil quickly absorbs into your skin and helps to moisturise your skin while you sleep. Upon waking up in the morning, it left my skin feeling soft with a youthful glow, call it beauty sleep in a bottle if you like! By using it only 2-3 times a week, you’ll wake up to skin that looks brighter, younger and more balanced, perfect for those Summer no makeup days!

In terms of adding hydration into my skin, the Soothing Gel Moisturiser* is a gel based formula that simply melts into your skin, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. AD - GIFTED | When it comes to makeup, I keep things very natural and simple. I'd much prefer the extra time in bed in the morning, so a quick and easy 20 minute makeup routine suits me just fine. Lavera have recently launched a new collection of exciting natural and organic colour cosmetic make up products and I was lucky enough to test a few of them out over the last couple of months. This allowed me to fully test each individual product and to test the longevity of each formula.

Colour Cosmetics is a comprehensive range that has everything you need to fulfil your makeup bags: from complexion perfecting foundations with high performing innovative formulations to care for the skin, on-trend lip colours to must-have mascaras. What more could you ask for?

The first product I would use for an everyday makeup look is the Lavera Cover and Care Stick in Ivory*. I use the concealer mainly under my eyes to help brighten them and make my complexion look fresh and bright. The Cover and Care Stick has a creamy soft texture that applies so easily along the skin, without any pulling or dragging. The concealer is formulated organic Witch Hazel which has great skincare benefits and helps to reduce and relieve any inflammation of the skin. I made sure to powder the concealer once applied to help avoid creasing later on in the day.

Next up in my routine would be brows. I'm quite luck that my eyebrows are quite full but I do have some sparse areas that just need filled in. I opted for the Lavera Organic Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde*. The pencil is super pigmented, meaning you only need the softest touch when filling in your brows, otherwise they will end up looking too overdone and unnatural. The colour is slightly too warm toned for me which doesn't match my brow colour 100%, but if you use careful, fine strokes, the product works absolutely fine.

To add some glow onto my skin, I used the Lavera Organic Highlighter in Shining Pearl*, and applied this to my brow bone and cheek bones, for a pop of radiance. The organic highlighter has a soft, smooth, creamy texture thanks to organic Jojoba, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter. The highlight has a very pale pink, perfect for all skin tones, helping to give a radiant sheen to both the eyes and cheeks, that really completes your makeup look.

A makeup look would never be complete without a good mascara, and the Lavera Powerful Lashes Mascara* is a great one to use for an everyday natural look. The innovative mascara brush perfectly coats the individual lashes as well as giving them a slight curl. This mascara is perfect for those wanting to achieve a natural look to the eye. It lengthens, adds volume and definition to the lashes, without any clumping or smudging. Powerful Lashes Mascara is enriched with organic Shea Butter to nourish your lashes and keep them in the best condition.

To set everything in place and keep away the shine, the Lavera Mineral Compact Powder in Ivory* was my go-to product. The light reflecting minerals together with natural colours complements your complexion giving a radiant look whilst eliminating shine. To complete my everyday look, I finish off by using the Lavera Glossy Lips in Hazel Nude*. The ultimate "your lips but better" colour and a great everyday nude shade, with the perfect amounts of brown, nude and pink. The gloss itself applies smoothly and evenly, giving the lips a perfect coverage in just one swipe. No stickiness, no smudging and no fuss to apply. This gloss has become a staple for me and something I would definitely recommend for those more natural makeup days.

Overall, I was super happy with the products that I have been using from Lavera over the last couple of months. My favourites have definitely been the Compact Powder, Highlighter and the Lip Gloss. AD - GIFTED | Winter really plays havoc with my skin, and I'm always on the lookout for the best skincare/bodycare products to use to beat my dry skin. I was kindly gifted a couple of natural skincare products by DERMALOCH; a company specialising in natural products for those prone to skin complaints, and I have been using them for just over a month. With over 50yrs of expertise, DERMALOCH have created two skincare products which are safe to use for those who may experience problems with psoriasis, dermatitis and eczema.

DERMALOCH Rejuvaderm Cream 100ml*

"With an original formula based on 50 years of expertise in skincare combined with a true passion for natural ingredients, DERMALOCH Rejuvaderm has all the essentials needed from a daily moisturiser."

The first product I was gifted was the Rejuvaderm Cream*, a standard cream formula moisturiser, that nourishes and hydrates wherever you require it on your body. Within seconds the product has absorbed into the skin, it simply glided over the skin and there is absolutely no greasiness left behind. I found this an incredibly excellent feature as I used this cream on my face, arms and legs after showering, which meant I didn't have to sit around all day waiting for the moisturiser to sink in and dry.

DERMALOCH Intensive Spray 100ml*

"DERMALOCH Intensive is a deep penetrating, fine liquid that sinks deep into the skin. Energising the skin and nourishing it with a host of proven ingredients such as Tea Tree Oil, Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil, Sandalwood and Eucalyptus Oil."

The second product from Dermaloch was the Intensive spray*. A nutrient rich formulation with hassle free spray which made application super easy. I used this product on the drier areas of my body, including my elbow, knees and heels. As this moisturiser comes in a spray form, there is no need to rub the product into the skin. It worked incredibly well at keeping dry skin away, and keeping the healthy, happy skin in good condition. The scent of the product is very strong, aromas of fresh tea tree oil fill the room as soon as you spray it, so I avoided using this on my face, as I'm sure it would make my eyes water!

I've really enjoyed using the Dermaloch products over the last couple of months. Their natural skincare ingredients have really helped fix my dry, winter skin and I couldn't be happier. Both the two moisturisers work well together, or you can use them by themselves, depending on your skins needs.

AD| It’s very easy to get stuck in a style rut. You love your favourite jeans, you adore that old t-shirt and blouse, and as for that eyeshadow palette? Well, you’ve been using it for years! Before you know it, you realise that your look hasn’t altered for a decade or so – which means it’s definitely time for a change. You don’t have to do a dramatic image overhaul. Sometimes, just incorporating a hint of the unexpected into your style can make a big difference. Here are some tips to help you.

Accessorise with a scarf

The humble scarf has the ability to transform an outfit. Tie it around your neck to make your favourite blouse look instantly retro-cool. Wrap it around your head as a great alternative to a hat. They’re even good for tying around your wrist as a fabric bracelet. Try layering two to create added interest.

Get your lash on

Not a fan of mascara? Try using some false eyelashes instead. For a sixties vibe, go for thick, black lashes; or if you’d prefer a more subtle look, choose dark brown, thinner lashes. A good pair of false eyelashes completely open up the eyes, creating much more drama and sex-appeal.

Change your jewellery

Do you normally stick with delicate silver jewellery? If so, go for something bold and ethnic-inspired; such as a leather choker or fabric pendant. Alternatively, if you normally wear big statement pieces, try something petite and pretty for a change, or even some antique jewellery!

Get textural with your nails

Okay, so beige or nude lipstick feels nice and safe, and it’s suitable for work – hooray! But now might be the time to choose a few others shades too. A deep ruby red is perfect for going out in the evening, or if you want to get in a springtime mood, choose a burnt orange or pillar-box red.

Get experimental! You can have a lot of fun playing around with your look – and often, you’ll find long-forgotten clothing or cosmetics in your wardrobe, just waiting to be rediscovered. Get experimental and enjoy.
