Here's a quick look at my monthly favourites!

October favourites

A new addition to my perfume collection over the last couple of months has been the Thierry Mugler Alien. It's been the only perfume I have been wearing. It has such a fresh, and deep scent, it's quite mysterious as I can't fully pinpoint what combination of smells it has combined within the fragrance. To me, it has bursting floral and woody aromas, that really work together to make a great feminine fragrance.

Carmex Lip Balm has been my lifesaver over the last month. Now that we are heading into the colder months of the year, this product is something I can't be without! I have 2 or 3 in my bag at all times. It's been one of the only lip balm products to fully moisturise and relieves my lips from the cold weather.

The Lee Stafford Nourishing Argan Oil Hair Dryer has been a recent purchase of mine, and I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner. My hair has definitely had a huge appearance and texture boost since using this and I know it will be perfect to keep my hair in good condition for the colder months ahead. Infused with Moroccan Argan oil helps to add a radiant shine, improved condition and protects against the use of heat. The hair dryer also comes with 2 speed and 3 temperature settings. I've also noticed that it takes very little time nowadays to dry my hair, which is great as I don't know anyone who actually likes do dry their hair! A definite must have!

Something new that I've tried this month has been the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Heat Protection Spray. As a huge haircare lover, I never usually use the same heat protection spray as I like to try out as many as I can, but this one from Lee Stafford has been amazing to use. Enriched with Coconut Oil, one of the best natural ingredients to help nourish and condition the hair, this lightweight spray has made detangling my hair the easiest thing in the world. With towel-dried hair, I like to spritz this spray all over my hair and gently brush through. This leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling super soft, as well as leaving a hint of coconut scent!

I recently post about my Netflix recommendations, and I featured the series Making A Murderer. Since this post went live, Making A Murdered has now launched part 2 of the documentary and I'm obsessed. This series is very gripping and I've been non-stop watching. It's definitely something you need to watch if you haven't already!

Lately, I've been obsessed with buying Primark Pyjamas, especially the £10 Disney sets. I've picked up a couple of Lilo & Stitch pyjamas, but my favourites have definitely been The Lion King. The pyjamas are so soft and super comfortable, you forget you even have anything on! I also love the fact the pyjama bottoms are usually cuffed, as these are my preferred style of trouser. Very affordable and very cute!

What are you favourites this month?

December has been a busy month for me, but I have definitely had products that I have really loved using or products that I would recommend as I've used them for most days this month. I have a whole selection of products from beauty to footwear to TV shows and more, so let's get started!

One Tree Hill
I love a good teen drama, and something that I have been watching religiously this month is One Tree Hill. I remember only watching Season One a long time ago, remembering my love for Lucas Scott and realised I had never carried on watching. Fast forward five seasons and I am hooked that bad that I can watch a good three or four episodes at a time. It's such an easy watch series that even if you aren't a fan of basketball, you will really enjoy watching it.

YSL Black Opium
As a perfume lover, I had been hearing such a hype about this fragrance from a number of beauty lovers, that I needed to get my hands on this and see what all the fuss was about. Since receiving this perfume, I have worn it nearly everyday, I absolutely love it! It's such a deep, sexy, musky scent, I think it really is something any female would love and if you haven't smelt/tried this, I would definitely recommend it! If you want to find out more about what I think about this, you can read my review here.

Nike Roshe Runs
When it comes to shoes, I'm 100% a trainer girl. Don't get me wrong, I love wearing heels and boots for a more smart occasion but I love being comfortable and knowing that I can wear a pair of shoes all day and not have painful feet come evening time. I picked up my Roshe's via ASOS and have been wearing them non stop for the last few months, that I just had to include them in my first monthly favourites, as they are just that amazing, I want them in every colour! Next on my purchase list will be the all black version, navy and burgundy!

ELF 3-in-1 Mascara
As it goes for mascara, I thought my favourite for this month would be the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara as this has been a staple in my make up routine for a while. In the hope of finding some more mascaras that I loved just as much, I recently placed an ELF order, and purchased the 3-in-1 Mascara (Lengthen, Define and Volumize) in hope it would be just as good, and I was actually happy with the results after the first application, that it has become a staple for me over the last few weeks. The brush is a little strange and oddly shaped, but that seems to work for me as my lashes look longer, thicker and defined, something I always want in a mascara!

Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes
I love coffee. It's the perfect pick me up for tired mornings and it's just something I couldn't live without. But every year when Starbucks bring out the festive drinks menu, my love for coffee gets even stronger. Usually I'm a Caramel Macchiato/White Chocolate Mocha lover, but when it's Christmas time, I'm all over those Gingerbread Lattes! Just the thought of a sweet and delicately spicy gingerbread latte gets me in the festive mood and makes you feel all warm inside. I will definitely be sad when they're no longer available!

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil
A new addition to my haircare routine is the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil. As a huge fan of Aussie haircare, I was desperate to try the new hair oil they released earlier this year, and so far it blows all my other ones out of the water! With a blend of 3 oils Macademia, Safflower Seed and Coconut, you just know its going to do good things to your locks. First of all, the scent is just incredible. Just like the whole Aussie range, it just smells so sweet and fruity, it's so lovely. And of course the oil itself performs really well, I apply it to the lengths and ends of my hair after washing, and I'm left with shiny, silky, nourished healthy hair! If you haven't tried this yet, and you're a fan of haircare, I would 100% recommend this!

AD | Today, I have the opportunity to share with you all a fragrance that is very unique, and something I hadn't heard of before, which made me want to read up on what Molecule 01 actually is.
Molecule 01

"Molecule 01 contains only the aroma-chemical Iso E Super, which, on its own, is less of a fragrance than an effect. The wearer may notice a subtle, velvety, woody note which will vanish, then re-surface after some time. More than this, she or he will notice the impact the fragrance has on other people, because Molecule 01 lends an indefinable allure to the wearer. In fact, its effect is almost pheromonic."

After some extra research, I have discovered that Molecule 01 was devised in 2005  by the German perfumer Geza Schoen. It’s a unisex fragrance made by a company called Escentric Molecule, with a scent is based on one main ingredient and is designed to work with pheromones in your skin.

From only containing the aroma of one chemical, I am assuming its supposed to be more of a non-perfume sort of scent for people who don’t want the obvious smell of perfume. Something that really intrigued me about this product, is that the fragrance smells different on different people, I'm guessing this is something that enhances our "natural scent".

This fragrance would be a gorgeous gift for anyone, whether it be for Christmas or not.

Have you heard of this fragrance before? Have you tried it? Is this something that would appeal to you?

However, today's post will be sharing with you some mascara's that I've been using or have used, and to share my views with them with you! Please feel free to leave any of your favourites or any recommendations in the comments!

Collection 2000 Longer Lash Black
Collection 2000 Longer Lash Black £2.99
This is the first mascara that I have used from this range and I'm not completely sure if I would try any other mascaras from Collection 2000.  However, it did have some good points; it's really easy to apply, doesn't clump badly and instantly makes my lashes look darker and longer and for only £2.99 it is a bargain mascara. I just don't think it gives the right effect and look that I prefer from a mascara, as I like one that gives a lengthening and voluminous effect in one.

Topshop Volume Lash Mascara
Topshop Volume Lash Mascara £10
The only reason I picked up a Topshop mascara is I've heard many bloggers rave about how good there make up selection is, in which I ended up trying out this mascara. I like the fact is has a nice even brush that helps to get all lashes, has a really dark black colour, long lasting and you can actually notice it working well to create a voluminous look. The only thing I didn't really like about the mascara was the perfume like scent, which was a bit off putting.

Rimmel Scandal'eyes Volume Flash Waterproof Black
Rimmel Scandal'eyes Volume Flash Waterproof Black £6.99
In the past, I've used quite a few products from Rimmel and been very happy with the end result, until I started to use this. I don't know if its just me, but I didn't really get on with this product at all! From using this mascara a few times, I felt that my lashes looked quite short and clumpy and not much volume was added, which disappointed me.

Accessorize Volumising Mascara
Accessorize Volumising Mascara
This is probably one of my most used mascara's and I really enjoy using it. It defines, separates, lengthens and volumises the lashes really well to give a natural look or is very buildable to give more of a dramatic look. The brush is a nice size and the mascara doesn't dry or clump on the applicator, which helps when applying to the lashes. It lasts all day without smudging or leaving the lashes feeling brittle and dry. The packagings pretty cute, covered in animal print and with pink roses which I really like aswell.

2True Eye Lengthening Mascara No 1 Black
2True Eye Lengthening Mascara No 1 Black £1.99
This is probably the cheapest mascara that I have bought, and to be honest with you I wasn't actually disappointed with it. It helps to thicken, separate and build lashes, without clumping and give such a natural daytime look.

Rimmel Extra Super lash Mascara Black/Black 101
Rimmel Extra Super lash Mascara Black/Black 101 £4.99
This is another Rimmel product, and it's one of those products that I don't particularly love or hate. It gives the lashes a really dark black coat and gives some reasonable length and volume, but not to the degree that I would like. It does have a tendency to clump slightly, so you do have to be careful when applying.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Fibre Mascara Black
Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Fibre Mascara Black £7.99
This is a really nice mascara, it lasts all day and doesn't smudge which is something I look for. However, the I did find the applicator quite weird and flimsy to use as its plastic, and the brush was quite a weird size and shape. Also, it did lengthen my lashes, but did leave them quite clumpy and spider like, which for me is a big no! I think this is probably something I wouldn't use again, the product was over hyped and the only thing that really drew me towards it was the packaging.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Flex Mascara
Rimmel Scandal Eyes Flex Mascara £6.99
This mascara workswell at thickening the eyelashes and adding a lot of length, however it does get slightly clumpy and flaky and the product does build up heavily on the brush, which doesn't help when applying. I found the mascara itself to be quite a dry formula which doesn't really give a nice effect on the lashes and does make them look quite awful.

Which mascara's have you been using recently? Have you tried any of the ones I have featured? Would you recommend any for me ?

AD| Just moved into a new home? Or are you looking to give your personal space a little refresh? Why not opt for some home fragrances.

If you're unfamiliar, home fragrances come in a number of forms; candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, room sprays and incense sticks, to name a few. Using fragrance throughout your home can really help to enhance your living spaces. Smell is probably one of our most useful and important senses and it can influence our mood depending on the situation. By choosing the right home scents will let you express and share your individuality with visitors to your home, as well as putting that finished stamp of ownership on to your home.

home fragrance

By using fragrances throughout your home, it can help create the perfect warm, welcoming atmosphere and might just be that finishing touch you require for making your house feel more like home. Using different scents in the rooms of your home can be very useful for determining the ambience you wish you evoke. For example, in your bedroom you may wish for a calming, relaxing scent like lavender, in your bathroom you may opt for a fresh, clean scent such as clean cotton or citrus, and in your living room/lounge you may go for something more warming like vanilla, amber or ginger. As well as creating a welcoming atmosphere, home fragrances also have the power to help reduce stress and anxiety, especially those infused with calming essential oils such as lavender.

As mentioned previously, home fragrances come in a wide variety. There are various item choices to be made when looking for your perfect product for your home. If you're staying indoors, candles and highly scented wax melts are a good option to go for if you are needing warmth, light and fragrance. Both these options require a little more time as they require melting and burning before you are able to notice the scent from them.

Room sprays are perfect for those looking for a quick fix. Using room sprays are extremely easy as you can give a quick spritz over the room, and you get instant results. It’s the perfect way to add fragrance to your home quickly and unlike using a soy wax melt/candle, which requires time to melt the wax and burn away to release the scent into your home.

Reed diffusers are probably my go-to option when it comes to home fragrance. Reed diffusers are A popular home fragrance products that produce a constant aroma to any room without using resources such as electricity or heat. They are generally more long-lasting, as a majority of reed diffusers can scent your home for up to 8 weeks. As well as this, diffusers can be a very effective way of scenting your home that requires very little effort - all you need to remember if to rotate your reeds every week or so to keep the scent filling your home.

reed diffusers

Home fragrances come in a wide variety of fragrances to choose from - depending on your preferences. There is absolutely something out there for everyone. Most of the time, brands will produce fragrances to reflect seasonal times of the year, for example - winter berries, spices and citrus for Christmastime, coconut, fresh fruit and sweet scents for summer. Some of my favourite home fragrance scents include vanilla, orange, coconut, pine trees and lavender.

Memory and the sense of smell are linked and intertwined due to the anatomy of the brain. It's believed that certain scents can help you remember certain memories. Familiar scents can easily trigger specific memories that may have occurred years ago and instantly pull you back into remembering another time. In terms of home fragrance, you may have used scents in the past that could help you remember memories from the past such as your childhood home, Christmas times with your family, holidays, your wedding day and even purchasing your first home.

Finally, you will be able to find home fragrances in a number of high-street stores and supermarkets, as well as online for extremely affordable prices, making them available to everyone - especially those who have just moved into their new home, or those on a low income or tight budget. On the high-street, I usually pick up my home fragrance products from Primark. They offer such a variety of scents and home fragrance products to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice. Online, littlemisstwiggietwinkles offers a wide variety of home fragrance products including wax melts, reed diffusers and seasonal products in a great selection of scents - I'd definitely be selecting the perfume and aftershave inspired scents for my home - especially Lady Million and Sauvage!

Do you currently use any home fragrances? What are your favourite scents to use in your home?

AD| It’s very easy to get stuck in a style rut. You love your favourite jeans, you adore that old t-shirt and blouse, and as for that eyeshadow palette? Well, you’ve been using it for years! Before you know it, you realise that your look hasn’t altered for a decade or so – which means it’s definitely time for a change. You don’t have to do a dramatic image overhaul. Sometimes, just incorporating a hint of the unexpected into your style can make a big difference. Here are some tips to help you.

STYLING TIPS

Accessorise with a scarf
The humble scarf has the ability to transform an outfit. Tie it around your neck to make your favourite blouse look instantly retro-cool. Wrap it around your head as a great alternative to a hat. They’re even good for tying around your wrist as a fabric bracelet. Try layering two to create added interest.

Get your lash on
Not a fan of mascara? Try using some false eyelashes instead. For a sixties vibe, go for thick, black lashes; or if you’d prefer a more subtle look, choose dark brown, thinner lashes. A good pair of false eyelashes completely open up the eyes, creating much more drama and sex-appeal.

Change your jewellery
Do you normally stick with delicate silver jewellery? If so, go for something bold and ethnic-inspired; such as a leather choker or fabric pendant. Alternatively, if you normally wear big statement pieces, try something petite and pretty for a change, or even some antique jewellery!

Get textural with your nails
Nail polish turns your hands into instant focal points. Rather than settling for just a pop of colour, choose some nail polish with texture, such as a glittery or crackle finish. If you’re feeling artistic, stick some cute nail stickers on too.

Go for a different cut (of jeans)
If you live in your skinny jeans, now might be the time to switch them up for something different. Try a slouchy boyfriend cut or a 70s flare. They’re ultra on-trend and breathe instant life into your wardrobe. You can also experiment with colour too – for example, if you usually stick to pale denim, go for navy blue or black.

Change your fragrance
If you’ve been wearing the same scent for years, now is the time to try a new one. Choose something that’s totally different to your usual fragrance. If you normally go for a floral scent, try out something fruity or musky. Masculine fragrances are also ideal – not to mention distinctive. Sauvage perfume is a great example.

Invest in new lip colour
Okay, so beige or nude lipstick feels nice and safe, and it’s suitable for work – hooray! But now might be the time to choose a few others shades too. A deep ruby red is perfect for going out in the evening, or if you want to get in a springtime mood, choose a burnt orange or pillar-box red.

Get experimental! You can have a lot of fun playing around with your look – and often, you’ll find long-forgotten clothing or cosmetics in your wardrobe, just waiting to be rediscovered. Get experimental and enjoy.

December Favourites

Monthly favourites time has come around very quickly again, and I've made a huge list of things that I've loved throughout December. If I included everything on my list this time, we would be here all day reading about the products and items on my favourites list. Obviously Christmas was an overall favourite of mine, I love giving presents and celebrating with all my friends and family. As well as my nieces 1st birthday on Christmas Eve, which was really special. But I also had a list of mainly beauty favourites for the month, so let's see what I've been loving through December!

I mentioned both The Body Shops Berry Bon Bon Shower Gel and The Body Shop Berry Bon Bon Body Lotion in a recent post of mine - 2018 Festive Favourites from The Body Shop. It was definitely my favourite scent from the Christmas range that they released for 2018. Enriched with cranberry seed oil from the floodplains of North America, this juicy and fruity seasonal scent that is packed full of delicious winter berries. I've stocked up on both products as I really don't want them to run out any time soon! The scent is just so fresh and fruity, it lingers on the skin for hours. These shower gels lather up so well, you only need the smallest amount ever. The body lotion has such a rich, creamy formula, it feels so nourishing and moisturising on the skin

Another favourite of mine has been the Aussie Mega Shampoo. I mentioned this product previously in my Aussie Haircare Gems blog post and it's become a staple haircare product in my routine. Aussie is a brand that I repeatedly go back to as I know that their haircare works for my hair type and I really love the scent of all their products. The Aussie Mega Shampoo is the perfect product to use for hair that wants to be clean every day. This daily shampoo packed with Kangaroo Paw Flower extract, helps to cleanse the hair and scalp, and leaves you with beautiful, healthy shiny locks. The shampoo lathers up really well, so you can work it into the hair and scalp for a good, deep clean and get rid of any product build up.

Usually for work, I pick up the ALDI All Butter Croissants, as these are a perfect breakfast or snack for on the go. You can get them in a pack of 8 for just £1.09 which I think is super affordable and a great price to pay for a breakfast snack. Although very different from the traditional French croissant, these ALDI ones are very soft, rich and buttery. Super tasty and a great way to start the day, alongside your morning coffee.

For Christmas, I received a box of the Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates and I've already finished the entire box. Lindt is definitely one of my favourite chocolate brands. The truffles are incredibly smooth and delicious, you can't just stop at one. The assortment contains milk, extra dark, milk with hazelnut pieces and white chocolate truffles, all of these are to die for but my favourites are definitely the original milk truffle and the white chocolate.

Throughout December, my go-to fragrance has been the Ghost Eclipse Perfume. I've been wearing it pretty much everyday. The bottle itself is absolutely stunning. A rich orange coloured glass bottle in the shape of a crescent moon, with a rich gold cap. It's beautiful to look at, as well as the smell. A very playful and addictive scent, bursting with very fresh, fruity and floral aromas. With hints of fresh lemon, mandarin, apple and peach, it's a perfect fragrance for summertime, but I like it all year round!

It wouldn't be a December favourites post if I didn't include the Primark Cosy Socks. These are a staple of mine all year round, but I love to get new ones around Christmas time. Primark's Cosy Socks are one of the most comfortable, warm and cosy socks I have ever worn. I've got countless pairs of these in my sock drawer and they are something I repurchase time and time again as I cannot fault them whatsoever. At a bargain price of £1.80 for two pairs, it's extremely hard not to stock up on all the new colours and designs they have.

Another beauty favourite of mine has been the Dove Nourishing Care Shower Oil. This has been my shower staple, as well as The Body Shop Berry Bon Bon Shower Gel throughout December. The Dove Shower Oil has been the perfect product to keep my body hydrated and moisturised during the colder winter months. Infused with non-greasy Moroccan Argan oil, it cleanses, moisturises and protects from dryness to leave the skin feeling soft and smooth to the touch. It's a really lightweight oil, that lathers really well in the shower, followed by a gorgeous deep and rich Argan oil scent. Priced around the £5, it is definitely something I would recommend you to try if you suffer from dry skin during the winter.

Finally, how could I not include the 2018 Bloggers Secret Santa. This year, I opted to take part in a Secret Santa over on Twitter. I was kindly invited by Casey to join in with a 2018 Bloggers Secret Santa. I think they are a fantastic way of networking and meeting new people. It also gave me the opportunity to share my blog and chat with fellow bloggers who I would have never of known about. The Secret Santa was super easy to get involved in. There was an Elfster group set up, where everyone was matched to another individual taking part. You had the opportunity to make your own Wishlist's, so the person who was buying for you had a little idea of the things you would like and your interests.

As soon as I opened my gift box up, this was all I could smell. The first wrapped up gift was a Cupcake Bath Bomb with Red Berries. This filled my whole box with such a beautiful fresh and spa like scent.  Secondly, I received The Body Shop Wild Argan Hand Cream. A Primark Home Sloth "Hang in There" Mug. Finally, I received  both The Body Shop Green Tea Bath Bomb and Coconut Bubble Bar. I've wanted to try these for the longest time, yet I have never actually purchased them myself.

I had the pleasure of buying two Secret Santa gifts this year. Due to a few people dropping out from the gift exchange, I decided I would purchase for someone who didn't have a partner and I bought gifts for both Casey and Alicia. I had to do quite a lot of stalking on both the girls to find out what they liked, as well as using their Elfster Wishlist's to create the perfect Secret Santa gifts for them.

What have been your favourite things for December? Did you all have a great Christmas and New Year?

AD - GIFTED| Many of us own a watch that is worn pretty much every day. It's definitely once piece of jewellery that will never go out of style. Many watch owners are gifted a beautiful, luxury watch on occasions such as birthdays, graduations, promotions and other special days in your life.

A watch is the perfect accessory, not only does it tell the time, but it can add so much character to an outfit, and will remind you of those special personal and sentimental memories of when you received it. A good, luxury watch that's kept in good condition and has been well looked after should last for years and years to come. Watches are built to last a lifetime, and if they are taken care of properly, you'll be able to pass your watch on to future generations of your family for years to come. Here are 5 tips on how to care for your luxury watches and keep them in the best condition over the years.

LUXURY WATCHES

Cleaning Your Watch
To ensure the longevity of your luxury watches, it is important to remember to keep your watch clean and maintained whilst on and off the wrist. There are two parts of a watch you need to keep clean: the watch face, and the strap/bracelet. Depending on how long or how often you wear your watch will determine how regularly it needs to be cleaned. From daily wear, a build up of oils, sweat and dirt can cling to your watch, so it's vital that you always refer to the manual or do your own research before using specific cleaning products on your watch. You must wait until your watch is fully dry completely before you wear it again to ensure it doesn't get damaged or begin to get rusty.

Read Your Watch Manual
If you have been gifted a brand new watch for a special occasion, or you are interested in purchasing a watch, make sure to do yourself research and familiarise yourself the brand/product you choose. By doing this, you'll be able to understand how your watch works, how to care for it, as well as you'll know what to expect from the watch you pick in advance. It might be important to know what material your watch is made from, to know if your watch is water-resistant and to know how to set the correct date or time.

Store Your Watch Properly
As much as regularly cleaning your watch is necessary, it's also extremely important to store your watch properly to keep it in its best condition. The watch’s original box is the ideal place for storage. You need to minimize their exposure to the elements, such as direct sunlight, dust, mould and high temperatures.

Avoid Unwanted Damage
Without proper care and attention, it’s only a short matter of time before your watch face or strap shows scratches. To ensure your watch remains in good condition, make sure to remove your watch during certain activities such as showering/bathing, DIY jobs and exercise. Also, avoid wearing other pieces of wrist jewellery, such as bracelets, on the same wrist, as they might scratch either the sides or the glass of your watch.

Get Repairs At A Reputable Jeweller
If you’re looking for watch repair, whether the watch face is scratched, the batteries have stopped working or your watch has any other faults, it's best in the hands of a reputable jeweller. For any damage, mechanical issues or problems, it's important that you go to the experts who have years of experience and are trained to fix all sorts of problems. This is important for those who own expensive, luxury watches, as you will want the highest quality and repair standards for your timepiece.

Avoid Contact with Chemicals
Exposing your watch or coming in contact with certain chemicals like cleaning products, soap, laundry detergents, cosmetics and perfumes can damage your watch, causing corrosion or rust. When using moisturisers, creams or perfume, allow these to dry completely on your skin before wearing your watch to avoid any contact with wet lotions or potential chemicals.

Introducing Barrington Watch Winders

"Our flagship Barrington Single Watch Winder in Shadow Black is both compact and stylish with all the practical features you would expect from a high end watch winder. "

Barrington Watch Winders

Watch winders are a super niche product in the wider world, but of course, for watch enthusiasts, they are much more popular. They’re usually intended to care for automatic watches by keeping them in perpetual movement when they’re not in use. This not only ensures that your watch will keep working and ticking away forever, but also means you don’t have to set the date or time every time you pick it up.

Barrington created a wide range of watch winders for automatic style watches, which can be operated in two ways; either by AC mains or by using two AA batteries. The watch winders also feature an ultra-quiet Japanese motor, multiple rotation settings and multiple turns per day settings from 650, 750, 850, 1000 or 1950, depending on your watch.

Barrington Watch Winders

For me, not only are these winders a great way to store your valuable watches and keep them in a good working condition, but they can also help to minimise damage and problems whilst not on the wrist of the owner. Another great selling point is that they also come in a variety of colours, suitable for everyone's preferences, and they could even become a sleek and minimal decorative accessory in your home, or even to give as a gift to a watch lover in your life.

Have you heard of watch winders before? What other tips do you have for caring for your watches?

With my previous blog post being my Stocking Fillers Gift Guide for Men, I thought today I would do something similar, but share my own Christmas Wishlist. This is the first Christmas Wishlist that I have put on my blog and this year I actually have some kind of idea of gifts that I would definitely love to find wrapped up on Christmas morning. My wishlist features such a variety of gifts from beauty to homeware and fashion, so if you're still on the lookout for gifts to add to your Christmas list, grab yourself a coffee and have a look at what is on my wishlist for 2018!

Christmas wishlist

Way back in January, I shared with you one of my current favourite perfumes; YSL Black Opium, and I'm still loving it now! It's been my go-to perfume for the year and lately I've been using it sparingly as it's nearly empty and I don't want it to run out. Every single time I've worn it, I received handfuls of compliments and people asking what fragrance I'm wearing. It's such a gorgeous and luxurious scent, so deep, musky and sexy. Definitely one of the best perfumes I've ever tried!

If there is one thing that I love about Christmas, it's the strong smell of Christmas trees. I'm lucky in that every year we go and get a real Christmas tree from a local garden centre to put up in our living room. The fresh, pine scent fills the whole house and makes everything feel so much more festive! Whilst browsing The Body Shops website, I noticed they have a special Enchanted Forest Reed Diffuser and it just sounds incredible. It’s the perfect fresh, frosty pine scent to set the mood for the Christmas holiday season, and keep you in the Christmas spirit all year round.

Since I began blogging, Soap & Glory have become one of my favourite beauty brands. They offer such a variety of products from makeup to skincare to bath and body care. There's always so much to choose from. Included in their beauty gift set selection this year is the The Mask Force Five Gift Set. From brightening masks to under eyes to pore refining to purifying and plumping, there's definitely something for everyone and every skin concern. It's every skincare lovers dream gift and a pamper night must have!

When it comes to footwear, I'm 100% a trainers girl. They are just so comfortable and practical for day to day wear. Nike have always been my choice of brand when it comes to picking new trainers. I find their shoes to be long lasting, well fitting and super comfortable. Recently, I've been eyeing up the Nike M2K Tekno Trainers, especially in the Rose and White colourways. I'm usually always wearing black so I want to inject some colour into my outfits, and new footwear is a great way to accessorise and style your outfit up.

In my Autumn beauty wishlist, I featured the new NARS Climax Mascara. It's been something I've wanted to try since I've seen so many great reviews. I've not really tried any high-end, more luxurious makeup brands before, as I'm always shopping in the drugstore. Retailing at £21, it's definitely has a much higher price point than my trusty Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara, which is a lot more affordable at just £7.99.

Would any Christmas wishlist be finished without some sort of bath and body set?! One of my favourites this year is definitely the Baylis & Harding Rose Prosecco Fizz Gift Set. I've used products from this collection before, and the scent is incredible! The fun and festive Christmas tree design set contains 100ml Bauble Shower Crème, 100ml Bauble Bath Crème, 100ml Bauble Bath Milk and 2 x gold foil wrapped Bath Fizzers. The gift set is fragranced with such a lovely sweet scent of Rose Prosecco Fizz, it's perfect for your next pamper night!

I've wanted a Faux Fur Throw Blanket for so long now, but I just can't seem to find one that I love. All I know it that I either want a nice dark brown or grey coloured throw, that will definitely make my room feel super warm and cosy.

Does it make me sound old if I've got an electric toothbrush on my Christmas wishlist? I'm getting really bored of using an old-fashioned manual toothbrush, and would love to ditch them for an electric version. I'm completely fascinated by the new Oral B Genius 9000 Rose Gold Electric Toothbrush. Featuring 6 built-in modes: Pro Clean, Daily Clean, Sensitive, Tongue Cleaning, Whitening, and Gum Care. This is just completely mind-blowing and amazing technology.

I've seen a lot of these Super Cosy Fleece Bedding Sets recently, and it's made me super jealous that I don't currently own one. I know that if I did have one, it would be so hard for me to get out of bed every morning. Super-soft and ultra-cosy, the fleece bedding set is perfect for the cold winter!

I absolutely love receiving new perfumes and fragrances as gifts. There are so many amazing scents out there, that there will always be something new to try. In terms of celebrity fragrances, I've previously tried out scents from both Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, and I've had my eyes set on something by Ariana Grande. A cracking gift for Christmas is the Ariana Grande Mini EDP Gift Trio. A collection of Ariana’s signature mini fragrances is the perfect gift as it would let you try out a few of the scents in mini, travel sized form, before buying a larger size perfume. Featuring 7.5ml bottles of her ARI, Moonlight and Sweet Like Candy scents, in a cute and playful cracker package. It's the perfect gift this Christmas.

What is on your Christmas Wishlist this year?

AD - GIFTED | VINOOS by AMS develops an edible wine experience without the need for alcohol, in the form of real Wine Gums. Vinoos seeks to achieve the taste of that first sip white wine in a new way, without actually drinking. A super fun and interesting new concept, making it perfect for anytime of the day, when you're craving a sweet treat. The concept is to nibble on them whilst socialising, relaxing or dining, so these would make a great gift, dinner party snack or even a beautiful wedding favour.

Vinoos Luxury Adult Wine Gums

"The Real Wine Gums are a real adult luxury.  When you have a craving of something sweet and maybe a glass of wine too, look no further than the real wine gums by Vinoos."

Vinoos Riesling Wine Gums

 The Riesling Wine Gums*

Riesling wines are something that I haven't really experienced before, but I am aware these are an increasingly popular choice among wine lovers. For me, these wine gums have a crisp and sharp apple taste, which seems to be the main flavour packed into the sweet. I also found there to be quite subtle floral hints mixed with a sweet honey taste, which added depth to the flavours.

“Nothing beats the grape perfume and lively acidity of Riesling wine.”

Vinoos Rose Wine Gums

The Rosé Wine Gums*

These wine gums have flavour hints of super juicy summer fruits; think fresh strawberries and raspberries. The wine gums have mildly acidic aftertaste which isn't too overpowering, mimicking the real taste of a glass of Rosé, combined with the sour-sweet flavours from the fruit, this would be a great flavour choice for those who aren't much of a wine drinker.

Vinoos Chardonnay Wine Gums

The Chardonnay Wine Gums*

Chardonnay is one of the most popular of all white grape varieties, and these wine gums are perfect for those who want the taste of a lovely Chardonnay without the alcoholic content. It has a very subtle wine smell, with a crisp and fresh taste, these wine gums give me a fruity vibes with a hint of bubblegum-esque flavour.

Overall, I had never experienced anything like this before. The way the taste of a real glass of wine has been captured into a wine gum sweet with 0% alcohol is incredible. My favourite flavour would definitely have to be the Rosé Wine Gums. I absolutely loved the super fresh and fruity flavours that accompanied these sweets.

These would perfect gift for a dinner party of if you have those wine gum cravings. The range currently consists of 4 flavoured gums: a white Chardonnay, a German Riesling, a Rosé, and a red Merlot.

Have you heard of or tried Vinoos Wine Gums before? What would be your favourite flavour?

AD - GIFTED | Are you planning on a homemade hamper this Mother's Day, but unsure on where or how to start?

A DIY Mothers Day Hamper is guaranteed to make any Mum feel extremely spoilt and loved! Sometimes a homemade and personalised gift can be super special and just as thoughtful as a ready-made present. The reason I think a DIY gift is better is simply due to the fact you can personalise and include some gifts that you know will be loved. Personalised hampers don't have to cost a lot. There are so many gift ideas out there, that you can still put together a gorgeous hamper on an affordable budget, or if you really want to make a luxury hamper, there's also the opportunity for that.

Pretty packaging and presentation can really take your DIY hamper go from 0 to 100. This will be helping to make your gift look more spectacular and special, and can even help to personalise your gift to your receivers preferences.

Firstly, you'll want to decide what hamper you want to go for. Depending on your budget, you could put together a more relaxed modern style with a decorative gift box/bag or opt for a more traditional wicker hamper. I'd recommend looking online, in local garden centres, homeware stores or charity shops to find a suitable container for your homemade gift hamper. It may also be worth finding one that can be reused over and over again, as something decorative or as a storage solution.

For those who are looking for a low-cost, affordable DIY hamper, the products I have featured in the photo above could be some really great options for you to include in your homemade gift. First up, who doesn't love receiving some chocolates?! I've opted for Maltesers as I know they are a favourite and will definitely go down a treat. Face masks and foot masks are the ultimate pamper, and for me, are an essential for any DIY hamper. I picked these up from Superdrug as they have such an affordable and extensive selection.
Not only is ALDI a good place for food, but they also have a stunning range of candles and reed diffusers, extremely similar to those from Jo Malone. My favourite scent is definitely the Pomegranate range, a super luxury and affordable fragrance to add to your home.

A handbag must have from Benecos is the Orange Lip Balm*. Packed with natural and organic ingredients include Organic Orange Oil along with Organic Shea Butter, it's an essential for soft and smooth lips. Lavera is a great brand if you want some high quality and natural beauty/pamper products, perfect for Mother's Day. First of all, the Soft Purity Shower Gel*. The natural gentle, soft foaming, cleansing ingredients doesn't strip your skin of it's natural oils. Formulated with Organic Algae and Organic Water Mint thoroughly and effectively cleanses and nourishes your skin leaving it feeling refreshed and silky soft. The Hydro Sensation Gel cream* gives intensive moisture to your skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth with a youthful radiance and a perfect glow.  Finally, the Very Berry Hand Wash*. The perfect addition, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic. Formulated with a delicious aroma of organic goji berry and organic acai, these moisturising and nourishing ingredients will leave your hands pleasantly soft and smooth

For those wanting to go that extra mile and really push the boat out with a more luxurious DIY hamper, the products I have featured in the photo above could be worth including in your personalised gift. Starting off with the gorgeous Giorgio Armani Si perfume. This scent is chic, sultry, intense and soft at the same time, with deep aromas of fruity and floral notes. Heyland & Whittle is a great brand for those who love room fragrances and scents. I picked up the Clementine & Prosecco fragrance gift set as I think this is such a delightful combination; the fragrance is light and sweet, fruity and sparkling, perfect for a happy and uplifting Mother's Day gift. Again, chocolates is a must have, and these delicious Milk Chocolate selection box from Marks & Spencer looks exquisite. Also from Marks & Spencer is the Normandy Apple sparkling juice, an alternative for those not wanting to add a bottle of champagne, prosecco or wine.

Finishing up with some beauty products to help with the perfect pamper evening on Mother's Day. Soap & Glory are my ultimate favourite brand when it comes to skin and body care. They have such a vast selection of products and ranges that you'll be spoilt for choice. Faces masks scream relaxation to me, and this Miracle Moisture Mask is one of the best ones that I've tried. So refreshing, hydrating and moisturising. Finally, a newer brand I've discovered; Million Dollar Facial. Two of the best selling products that I would recommend would be the Million Dollar Medi+ Hydrating Elixir* and Medi+ Glyco Wash*.

What gifts will you be gifting on Mother's Day? Have you thought of compiling your own hamper? What would you include?
