I’m pretty sure that if we all could spend hours a day on hair care, skincare and makeup, 9 times out of 10 we would, but it’s definitely not practical or realistic these days! Busy lifestyles can really reduce the amount of time we have to look after ourselves and for this, we are all seeking beauty products that we can use quickly and easily, but still give the same results as if we were to spend ages.  After a little research, as well as browsing products that I already own, I’ve come up with a few beauty essentials that are perfect to use for the lazy ones amongst us!
First up is the Batiste Dry Shampoo. This stuff is definitely a miracle product and a perfect hair care solution for those with a hectic lifestyle. Ever woken up one morning and noticed your hair isn’t looking its best but you have no time to wash it? Yes? Well grab a can of this and those days will be over! This dry shampoo is a great way to refresh and revitalise your hair instantly, removing and excess grease or oil. Just spritz into the roots and massage into your scalp, to leave clean and fresh hair, with a little added volume and texture! Batiste comes in a variety of scents, my favourite being the ‘Tropical’, so there will definitely be a scent you will love! You can buy this in a range of size cans, so perfect if you’re always on the go, just put a mini travel version in your handbag and you’re good to go!

If you’re looking for something quick and easy to add to your skincare routine, look no further! The Garnier Pure Active 3 – 1 Wash, Scrub and Mask is a perfect ‘all-rounder’, multi-use product that can save you time and money. This beauty product can be used in 3 different ways; a face wash, a face scrub or a face mask, meaning you don’t have to have millions of other products to use in conjunction, when this can do all 3!
Thirdly, a Cheek ‘n’ Lip Tint from 2True, which is an affordable make up product that has 2 uses. These are quite a new addition to the beauty world, but I definitely think they could come in handy! This would definitely be a welcome addition to any beauty bag and perfect for those who want a matching cheek and lip make up combo!

Next up is the Rimmel 5 Pan Eyeshadow in Brixton Brown. A small, travel sized palette perfect for eyeshadow, eyeliner, highlighting and filling in those brows! The shade range that is included is pretty good, and would most likely suit many people’s brow shades and gives a perfect smoky eye eyeshadow look for an evening look, or you can create a more neutral daytime look!

Finally, the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle! For me this is the perfect hair care product ever! All Aussie products smell amazing, and this is no exception! The main purpose of the 3 Minute Miracle is for a deep treatment to the hair, to help maintain healthy hair. This comes in a variety of types, including a heat protecting version, one to maintain shine and one to prevent frizz, so it’s perfect for all types of hair! You can also use this hair product as a simple conditioner after shampooing your hair and if you’re feeling extra lazy, use this instead of a shaving gel for extra super silky legs!

All the products I have featured are super affordable and can all be picked up in your local high street stores and supermarkets! So hopefully you have been introduced to some new products that can save you time in the mornings, also save you some money, and help you look your best without spending all day with a few multi-use product ideas.

What are your lazy beauty products? Do you use any I have featured in today's post?

It's been a while since I've done a wishlist styled post,(it's actually been since January!)- you can view that post here! So with Autumn in full swing, I've put together some beauty bits that I'm currently lusting over!

autumn beauty products

- Soap & Glory Archery Volu-Boost Brow Fibre Gel -
I've been a huge fan of the Soap & Glory Brow range, they have some really amazing products, at an affordable price point.. My current eyebrow pencil is the Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush- I use shade "Love is Blonde". So when I saw that a new product; the Volu-Boost Brow Fibre Gel had been added to the range, it's definitely been something I've wanted to test out. A product marketed to build, thicken & set your brows in an instant, this seems like a total game changer and something that I'm definitely lacking in my makeup bag. Probably because I use a clear mascara for my brows and not an actual brow gel! But I'm hoping to get my hands on this product soon in an attempt to help add colour and shape to my eyebrows, especially the sparse areas.

- L'Oréal Paris Smooth Sugars Glow Scrub -
With previously using both the Nourish Scrub and the Clear Scrub, I've really loved the L'Oréal Smooth Sugars range, and the Glow Scrub is the last in the trip that I need to test out. I want to keep my skin looking as fresh and as glowy as possible. With the colder Autumn/Winter weather settling in, I'm in need of a product to tackle dull skin, and I'm hoping the Glow Scrub will just do that!

- Lee Stafford Coco Loco Hair Straighteners -
I've recently purchased a new hairdryer (it's also from Lee Stafford), and I thought it's about time I need a new set of hair straighteners. I've had my current set for around 4 years now and I think they are starting to wear out now. The Lee Stafford Coco Loco Hair Straighteners look perfect! The ceramic plates in the Coco Loco irons are infused with nourishing Coconut Oil, this clever oil keeps your hair looking sleek, smooth and shiny. What more could you ask for?

- Revolution Skincare Superfruit Extract Serum -
Recently, Revolution have introduced a new, exciting and affordable skincare line to their range, and I definitely wanted to give some of their products a go. I'm currently using the Revolution Skin Plumping & Hydrating Solution - 2% Hyaluronic Acid, and my skin is definitely loving it! The Revolution Skincare Superfruit Extract Serum is a dual purpose serum and primer that helps replenishes the skins moisture, packed with a slight iridescent shimmer for unbeatable radiance. A must have product to help prolong that Summer glow for Autumn/Winter.

- L'Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths Heat Mask -
I've previously tried some of the L'Oréal Dream Lengths range and absolutely fell in love with the products. The trio of products that I've used this were the perfect combination to help protect hair against breakage and split ends. Designed for those with long, damaged hair and enriched with Keratin, Vitamins and Castor Oil, the Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner work like a treat for my hair. My hairs been on the dry side lately, so I'm hoping the new Dream Lengths Heat Mask will do the same as the other products in the range!

- NARS Climax Mascara -
New from NARS, the Climax Mascara. If you're a regular to my blog, you know I couldn't live without my mascara, a few favourites of mine being from Rimmel and Benefit. I like a mascara that really helps to separate, volumize and lengthen the lashes, helping to add boldness and definition, and making my eyes pop as the main focal point of my face. I usually like plastic, bristle mascara wands, but the NARS mascara has quick a chunky, fibre brush, that I would imagine gives you extreme volume and definition - exactly what I'm after!

- Ouai Hair Oil -
When it comes to haircare, I've always loved products from the Drugstore. Some of my favourite haircare brands include Aussie, OGX and L'Oréal. My current favourite hair oil being the Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor - it's great!! But after hearing and reading some rave reviews, I've always been lusting over the luxurious Ouai Hair Oil. Described as a multitasking hair oil that smoothes out frizz and seals split ends for high-gloss, super-smooth finish, this would be the perfect addition for my haircare routine for the colder winter months.

What beauty products are on your wishlist for Autumn? Have you tested and reviewed any of the products featured?

I'm sure we are all aware at how hard it really is to save money. As one of my New Years resolutions, I want to keep up with my money saving and try to curb my spending by only purchasing things that I really need and not want. Any by no means this will be easy, its all about taking things into moderation and having the willpower to say no when wanting to spend. I have come up with a simple list of ways that I intend to help me save money and wanted to share these with you, if you're looking for some new ways and inspiration to save as well.
1. Save any loose change in a jar/piggy bank
This might sound like such a small thing to do in order to save money, but in honesty, who likes carrying around all that small change in their purses. Saving all the small change will gradually begin to build up over time, whether it amounts to £5 or £50 over the year, it is at least something you have managed to save.

2. Sell unwanted items
With apps like Ebay and Depop making it easier for people to sell there unwanted products, this is a great way to de-clutter as well as save money. I personally use Ebay and find it really simple to sell items that I no longer use or want, with the hope of getting some money back to save.

3. Create a savings account
I created a savings account last year and it is something that I feel I will really benefit from in the future. Every payday I put aside a small amount of my wages to help build up my savings, and if I have any money left over at the end of the month, I would generally add this to my savings too.

4. Use loyalty cards/ vouchers/ discount codes
Having loyalty cards is a great way to reward yourself when spending on products you may need. You'll be able to spend your money but also save up points from your purchases, that will end up in getting money off or special discounts in the future. Even when shopping online, its always great to search for discounts and voucher codes for the specific shop, even if you save just the delivery costs, that's still a couple pounds in your pocket, and if you're a big online shopper like myself, this will soon add up over your numerous orders.

5. Write your shopping lists
Whether its on paper or saved as a note on your phone, making strict shopping lists will make it easier for you to remember the products that you genuinely need and will be an attempt to stop you going overboard and purchasing things that you really don't need. Whether its for a trip to the supermarket, Boots, Superdrug, or any other store, make sure you carry a shopping list to make sure you only pick up the relevant items.

6. Use cash to pay
This is definitely something I need to start doing more. I'm always using my card to pay for products I buy as it is just a more convenient way to live. But it is also very dangerous for my bank balance. Paying with cash will allow you to feel more restricted and allow you to budget your money more carefully, so you don't overspend.

7. Try lower priced brands
For many of us, we all have our favourite brands. Whether its for food items, beauty products or clothing for example. We always stick to the things we know and love, without trying products that do the same job/look the same, but have a lower price tag. It's always good to experiment and see what it out there to purchase, so trying lower cost products instead of repurchasing your favourite more expensive, higher end products is worth a try.

8. Meal planning
Meal planning is just such a simple idea to help you save money. If you plan out what you'll eat and what ingredients you'll need from day to day, you'll be less likely to buy products you wont eat and less likely to snack on food in between meals.

9. Use up products before repurchase
As a blogger who continually writes about beauty products, I am guilty for this. I always want to try new products or purchase items from other bloggers recommendations. I have a beauty stash that could be used for my entire family for a good few months, so in 2016, I'm hoping to work my way through it all before purchasing any more unnecessary products.

10. Have more nights in
We all know that going out, whether its to restaurants, bars or clubs can be pretty hard on the old bank accounts, so why not have more relaxing nights in. Cook yourself a nice meal, watch a few films and cosy up on the sofa and chill. Or even have all your friends over for a cosy night in and just enjoy spending some quality time together.

How will you attempt to save money this year? What other simple tips could you recommend?

AD| Feeling slightly overwhelmed with clutter and don’t really know where to start? De-cluttering and deep cleaning your home is something most people often dread and put off for as long as possible, until the clutter becomes extremely unmanageable.

Getting rid of old clutter doesn’t have to be a stressful process, especially if you use a waste removal service to take care of all the work. These are ideal for home projects, as they help to simplify your waste disposal, making it easier to maintain a clean and inviting property, saving you so much time and energy. By making sure you have a step-by-step action plan in place before you start and some time set aside, you'll be good to go and start your journey to a clutter-free and tidy home!

MINIMALIST HOME INTERIOR

Unwanted Clothing Items
Our wardrobes, clothing rails and drawers are often filled with items that we are attached to and simple cant bare to throw out. However, sometimes it's really important to sell online or give clothing to charity that no longer fits, doesn't fit your fashion style or hasn’t been worn for a long period of time. Sometimes you need to be totally ruthless when clearing out old clothing, but when you get rid of bin bags full of items you no longer want, you'll definitely feel much better and a lot less cluttered. Plus, you'll have so much more space, you can treat yourself to a few new items of clothing as a reward!

Be Smart With Storage
Depending on the size of your home, storage space may be quite limited and you may not have the space to store large items. Using shelving units, under bed storage, drawer organisers and personalised built in wardrobes are some easy and creative ways to make more storage solutions for those with limited space. If you are limited with space in your home, looking at places like Magenta self storage could be a great solution for you, where you can access secure, all-inclusive storage for both personal and business use. As well as this, they have plenty of storage facilities across the country, and help to can cater for all sorts of storage requirements you may need.

Tidy As You Go
When you lead a busy lifestyle, it can be very difficult to keep your living space neat and tidy as you're always doing something more important. However, you should make it a daily habit to put things away you have been using where they belong. This will allow you to save yourself time and stress later, as everything will be kept away where it should be, and will help minimise any cluttered surfaces in your home. A few examples of this could be putting your makeup and beauty products away after use, putting away any clean washing or even making sure you to clean and store away cooking utensils whilst cooking meals.

Dispose of Old Electricals/Appliances
Got some old electricals or unused appliances lying around at home? I'm sure many of us have drawers filled with old electricals that we simply don't use anymore and have no purpose in our lives. Items such as mobile phones, cameras, battery-operated toys to games consoles can clutter up much needed storage space in our homes if not used regularly. Nowadays, there are a number of ways you can get rid of these and free up space in your home. You can either sell on to someone else, get your local council to collect larger items or even recycle the lot!

Expired Beauty Products
Makeup bags, beauty product drawers and bathroom cabinets are known for collecting an array of expired make up products, medication, old toothbrushes, empty toiletries and other products you will probably never use. It's important to ditch any dried up, broken or just old beauty products you've had lying around to help cut down on clutter, as well as avoid the potential spread of germs. If you have brand new unwanted gifts or unopened beauty products that you cannot simply throw away, why not gift these items to friends and family, or even donate them to homeless shelters, for those who might need them more than you.

How do you keep your home clutter-free? What other tips do you have?

It's been a while since I've published a Wishlist styled blog post, and right now there are some amazing beauty products that I want to get my hands on. My last Wishlist was from way back in December, so I thought it was about right that I post one asap!

beauty products

First up is the Botanical Lab Rose Overnight Hydrating Mask. I think this mask will be a great skincare staple for the colder weather we have right now. This Hydrating Mask states it will help plump up your skin helping leaving it hydrated and smooth - a must have for winter skincare! Infused with a blend of Rose flower oil and hyaluronic acid it should help to deeply hydrate thirsty skin. A must buy for happy, hydrated skin this winter!

I've mentioned products from the Dream Lengths range before on my blog, and they have become a staple in my haircare routine. Recently, I've noticed something new to this amazing range - Rapid Reviver Treatment for Dream Lengths. This promises to be an intense conditioning product infused with an Amino Acid and Castor Oil. It also claims to contain twice as many conditioning ingredients versus a classic conditioner - goodbye dry and broken hair - hello healthy and strong hair!

Revolution Skincare Superfruit Extract Antioxidant Serum has been hot on my radar for a very long time since I tried out one of their skincare products before and LOVED it. This product would be the perfect base for healthy, glowy skin, with or without makeup. It looks to be quite a lightweight serum and primer which will hopefully leave skin feeling soft, while subtle iridescent shimmer creates unbeatable glow. Perfect for getting that summer skin in the cold months.

Korean skincare seems to be all the hype these days and skincare brand Simple have released their Daily Skin Detox Charcoal Cleansing Stick which seems very innovative and interesting to me. The concept of the product was what really drew me in as it is formulated to deeply cleanse and purifies pores with just one swipe!

Dry, chapped lips be gone! I need to get my hands on the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator. The Coconut formula is what I want to try. I love all things coconut. I've used the normal version of this before in the past and it definitely works well. Gently exfoliating the lips to remove dry, chapped skin, due to being infused with Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils to nourish and protect. A definite makeup bag essential!

If you've read my blog before, you will already know that I'm a huge lover of Primark Fragrances. I've tried both the PS Rose Gold and PS Love Noir and found them to be incredibly good. Primark have recently announced a new fragrance collection inspired by holiday destinations. I'm totally crushing over Ibiza Escape (with watermelon, pear, Tiaré flower, toffee and white musk) and L.A Dreaming (with bergamot, lime, pink pepper, neroli, blueberries, orchid and musk). At just £3.00 each for a 50ml, this is such an incredible price, and I know from my previous experiences that they are bound to be great!

What beauty products are on your current wishlist? Have you tried any from mine?

AD – GIFTED | Do you need some skincare routine inspiration? Are you stuck on what products you should be using during the warmer weather?

With the warmer springtime weather on the way, why not take advantage of the changing seasons, and start to switch up your skin routine now? During spring, our skin will typically require much lighter and more hydrating products, to help banish breakouts and keep our skin glowing.

If your skin has lost its glow over the colder, winter months, it's probably time to spring-clean your skincare stash, and slowly introduce some new, lighter skincare products to restore your radiant glow. If you're struggling for inspiration and require some advice, here are 5 beauty products you require in your spring skincare routine today!

bathroom

Now that the weather is gradually getting warmer, it's advisable to start incorporating an SPF or sunscreen product into your daily routine. By applying targeted treatments to your skin on a daily basis, you are preventing any harmful effects of sun exposure. As well as this, you are preventing any risk of skin cancer, sunburn, avoiding inflammation of the skin, and also preventing early signs of wrinkles.

If you aren't aware of or even using overnight exfoliating facial peels, what are you even doing? Overnight facial peels are a great way of getting your skin refreshed and nourished overnight, without any fuss. The way overnight peels work is by gently exfoliating the top layer of your skin, and loosening them to help achieve a more radiant complexion – goodbye dull skin! Another benefit of using overnight peels in your spring skincare routine is that they can help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation, whilst smoothing the skin's texture for a smoother and plumper appearance.

Decleor Green Mandarin Overnight Bi-Phase Peel

One product I've been reaching for is the Decleor Green Mandarin Overnight Bi-Phase Peel. A skincare product blended with a mixture of Green Mandarin Essential Oils, Glycolic Acid and soothing Botanical Oils, that help to resurface your skin leaving you smoother, revitalised and glowing. Another great feature of this Decleor skincare product is that it is enriched with strong anti-oxidant compounds, to protect the skin and to prevent skin ageing.

In order to achieve healthy spring skin, you should definitely consider swapping out your heavy, thick creams for a much lighter daily moisturiser. It's absolutely important to put down your heavier moisturisers these could end up clogging your pores and welcoming breakouts. Depending on your skin type, using a lightweight moisturiser will typically provide enough moisture for the skin, as the warmer weather brings in higher moisture levels in the air, making it less harsh and drying on the skin.

Decleor Green Mandarin Exfoliating 2 in 1 Scrub Mask

If you're looking to banish that dull, winter skin, exfoliating scrubs are going to be your best friend. There are a number of benefits from using exfoliating scrubs in your skincare. These include; promoting a more radiant, glowing complexion, helps moisturisers absorb and work more effectively, prepares the skin for make-up, helps unclog pores, has anti-ageing properties, and helps even out skin tone and texture.

One product I've been reaching for is the
Decleor Green Mandarin Exfoliating 2 in 1 Scrub Mask. Being a 2 in 1 product, it can be used in different ways to help achieve your spring skin goals, as it is infused with essential and botanical oils to maximise skin brightness, radiance, and texture. Firstly, you can use this Decleor product as a simple face mask, or secondly, as a facial scrub to remove any dead skin and leave your complexion instantly glowy.

Vitamin C is an extremely powerful in skincare, and acts as an antioxidant for skin. Using this product on a regular basis comes with a number of benefits that can help transform your complexion. Vitamin C enriched products can help to brighten, revitalise and detoxify your skin – exactly what you need to combat your winter skin, meaning plumper and smoother skin for the warmer months ahead.

A simple product switch us in your spring skincare is easier than it seems. By simply tweaking your current skin routine slightly, and reaching for lighter products, your skin will be ready for the new season ahead, and you'll redeem your skin glow.

What products are in your current skincare routine? Have you used Decleor products before?

The products they have to offer are 100% customizable and designed to work specifically for you, all worked out with a simple 2 minute quiz which determines the formula for your hair products depending on your hair type and hair goals.

Customisable Function of Beauty Haircare

For me, my hair type is considered slightly wavy, medium length and dry.
The hair goals I opted for were anti-frizz, deep condition, hydrate, lengthen and shine. I wanted to improve the texture and appearance of my hair, and keep it looking healthy and nourished all year round.

shampoo and conditioner. The Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner are recommended for all hair types as each product is specially formulated to address your unique hair goals and needs. Individually formulated to give your hair everything it needs to look and feel its best. I opted for the strong pear fragrance for my hair duo and the scent is incredible! I also like that you can choose the colours for both your shampoo and conditioner, I chose the gorgeous deep blue and bold orange for my hair products. From the very first use, I felt a huge difference in my hair. Softer, shinier and more hydrated, I knew with continuous use, my hair would be in the best condition it's ever been in.

Customisable Function of Beauty Haircare

This mask has a fully customizable formula that delivers a blend of nutrients to help give your hair the moisture it. Formulated with a blend of Japanese sake extract, Argan oil, jojoba ester oil, and a custom blend of natural ingredients depending on your hair goals. I like to use this mask once a week and you'll have beautifully nourished hair in no time at all!

hair serum. A lightweight oil that helps enhance hairs shine, smoothes frizz + and increases hair's overall appearance and texture. Formulated with blend of Argan, jojoba, and sunflower oils, it's the perfect product to use when drying and styling your hair, for the perfect finish. I apply this to the mid lengths and ends, as this is where I need the most protection and hydration.

Function of Beauty is on the slightly pricier side of haircare, but you shouldn't let that put you off as it's definitely worth the money. My hair has never looked so good and feels so incredibly soft. You'll be saying goodbye to bad hair days once you've added Function of Beauty haircare to your routine this winter!

GUEST POST | Does it feel like your skincare routine could use an update? Maybe it’s no longer giving you the results you are looking for, or perhaps you want to elevate your products and opt for luxury items that use better quality ingredients.

Luxury skincare products can do wonders for your skin, no matter your skincare concerns, but the trick is knowing which products to include in your routine. To help you out, we’ve put together a list of three essential products that you can add into your skincare regime so you can see dramatic results.

LUXURY SKINCARE

It Starts with a Good Quality Cleanser
Skincare routines can differ from person to person; one thing they all need to contain is a good quality cleanser that is meant for your specific skin type. This is what preps your skin for all the steps and products to follow, so the cleanser needs to do its job well. Your cleanser should easily be able to remove any traces of makeup and oil without actually stripping your skin. Cleansers can come in a variety of forms such as gel, cream, balm, and oil and there may be a little trial and error necessary to find the right format for your skin.

Ingredients to steer clear of when shopping for a luxury cleanser are dyes, perfumes, and chemicals. All of these can be very harsh and damaging to your skin.

Targeted Serums – Addressing Your Specific Needs
Then there are serums, which is a pretty massive category. Ideally, you want to take a targeted approach, meaning you pick one specific skincare concern and choose a serum that can address it. While there are certainly serums out there that claim to be an all-in-one solution, more often than not these end up falling short. So, if fine lines and wrinkles are your main issue, pick a serum that addresses aging. If uneven skin tone and dark spots are something you want to fade, then choose that targeted serum.

As for where to slot the serum into your routine, the correct order is:
· Cleanser
· Toner
· Serum
· Eye cream
· Spot treatment
· Moisturiser
· Face oil
· Sunscreen

Facial Oils - a Luxury Experience
While the idea of using oil on your face during your skincare routine is nothing new, it has really hit its stride in the past few years. Facial oils have now become mainstream as more and more people realise just how many benefits they offer. Depending on the oil you choose, it can target such issues as dry skin, dull skin, uneven skin tone, dark spots and pigmentation, and more.

When shopping for facial oil, be sure to look into a high-end reputable brand that is known for using good quality ingredients. For example, Tata Harper is a brand that uses raw organic and plant-based ingredients. The Tata Harper experience is meant to be chemical-free, giving you the ultimate facial oil, among other products.

By adding these essential luxury products to your skincare routine, you can expect to see some beautiful results.

What luxury beauty products do you use in your routine? What products would you recommend?

AD - GIFTED | In regards to beauty, haircare is something I have always been passionate about and something that I love to explore in terms of trying new brands and new products regularly. For reference, my hair is medium length, never dyed, natural dark blonde hair. In terms of texture, my hair isn't very fine and it isn't thick, somewhere in between, naturally quite straight with a few wavy areas, and I do suffer with some dryness from time to time in the mid-lengths and ends of my hair.

In collaboration with Panasonic beauty products uk*, I wanted to share some of my current favourite drugstore haircare products that will have your hair looking refreshed, silky soft and in tip-top condition!

L'oreal Paris Dream Lengths

L'Oréal Paris Dream Lengths Long Hair Shampoo, Conditioner & No Haircut Cream

A a trio of haircare products that have become a firm favourite of mine and a recent addition into my haircare routine. Designed for those with long, damaged hair, the Dream Lengths Shampoo and Conditioner work like a treat for my hair. Enriched with Keratin, Vitamins and Castor Oil; this is the perfect combination to help protect hair against breakage and split ends.

The No Haircut Cream is a total game-changer. The consistency is quite thick, but not too heavy on the hair, so it doesn't weigh it down at all. I use the No Haircut Cream on my mid-lengths and ends of my hair, and I find the product absorbs quickly without any residue. It protects my hair from the use of hair dryers and straighteners, as well we the weather outside. So if you've not tried it yet, it's definitely one to give a go!

Karine Jackson x Beauty Kitchen The Protector Multi Purpose Primer

Karine Jackson x Beauty Kitchen The Protector Multi Purpose Primer

This primer is formulated by 100% natural ingredients, which in turn shields hair from brush and heat damage, as well as protecting from UV Rays and pollution. This powerful cream is great to tame any fine flyaway hairs, to smooth thick hair and help protect hair from heat styling. It conditions the hair quite well, I use this primer on the ends of my hair after washing and you can see and feel visible effects even after few uses.

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor

Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor

I've already dedicated a whole blog post solely for this product. It's become a solid staple in my haircare routine, and something I will purchase over and over again! Aussie 3 Miracle Oil Reconstructor is a lightweight oil treatment designed for those with dry and damaged hair. Blended with 3 miracle oils; Australian Macadamia Nut, Jojoba-seed and Avocado, encouraging your hair to look silky, smooth and shiny. A must have product all year round to save your hair from the hot summers and cold winters.

Superdrug Avocado & Manuka Honey Conditioning Spray

Superdrug Avocado & Manuka Honey Conditioning Spray

Probably the cheapest product in my current haircare routine, but that does not mean its the worst! A simple yet effective conditioning spray that I always use before blow drying my hair. Formulated with Avocado and Manuka Honey, that helps to nourish the hair and to leave it feeling smooth and soft. It leaves your hair smelling so fresh and feeling so silky. If you're after a product that lets hair looks healthier with brilliant shine, this is definitely one for you!

L'oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil-in-Cream

L'Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil-in-Cream

I've used this product on and off for a while now, but it is definitely something I always come back to due the the great results that it gives to my hair. With intense nourishment without weighing the hair down or leaving a greasy residue on your fingertips, it's perfect for those days where your hair is feeling that little bit more dry and damaged, or when you want to tame frizz and flyaways.

Maui Moisture Revive & Hydrate Shea Butter Hair Mask

Maui Moisture Revive & Hydrate Shea Butter Hair Mask

This product has also had a whole blog post dedicated to it, because it's so damn good! You can view this post here. A product suitable for those with dry, damaged hair, it's perfect all year round; those hot summer days or those cold winter nights, Maui Moisture has got your back. A hair mask packed with amazing, natural ingredients; Aloe Vera Juice, Coconut Water, Creamy Shea Butter, Rich Coconut Oil and Pure Macadamia Oil, the perfect combination to improve the look, feel and texture of my hair.

AD - GIFTED | Are you planning on a homemade hamper this Mother's Day, but unsure on where or how to start?

A DIY Mothers Day Hamper is guaranteed to make any Mum feel extremely spoilt and loved! Sometimes a homemade and personalised gift can be super special and just as thoughtful as a ready-made present. The reason I think a DIY gift is better is simply due to the fact you can personalise and include some gifts that you know will be loved. Personalised hampers don't have to cost a lot. There are so many gift ideas out there, that you can still put together a gorgeous hamper on an affordable budget, or if you really want to make a luxury hamper, there's also the opportunity for that.

Pretty packaging and presentation can really take your DIY hamper go from 0 to 100. This will be helping to make your gift look more spectacular and special, and can even help to personalise your gift to your receivers preferences.

Firstly, you'll want to decide what hamper you want to go for. Depending on your budget, you could put together a more relaxed modern style with a decorative gift box/bag or opt for a more traditional wicker hamper. I'd recommend looking online, in local garden centres, homeware stores or charity shops to find a suitable container for your homemade gift hamper. It may also be worth finding one that can be reused over and over again, as something decorative or as a storage solution.

For those who are looking for a low-cost, affordable DIY hamper, the products I have featured in the photo above could be some really great options for you to include in your homemade gift. First up, who doesn't love receiving some chocolates?! I've opted for Maltesers as I know they are a favourite and will definitely go down a treat. Face masks and foot masks are the ultimate pamper, and for me, are an essential for any DIY hamper. I picked these up from Superdrug as they have such an affordable and extensive selection.
Not only is ALDI a good place for food, but they also have a stunning range of candles and reed diffusers, extremely similar to those from Jo Malone. My favourite scent is definitely the Pomegranate range, a super luxury and affordable fragrance to add to your home.

A handbag must have from Benecos is the Orange Lip Balm*. Packed with natural and organic ingredients include Organic Orange Oil along with Organic Shea Butter, it's an essential for soft and smooth lips. Lavera is a great brand if you want some high quality and natural beauty/pamper products, perfect for Mother's Day. First of all, the Soft Purity Shower Gel*. The natural gentle, soft foaming, cleansing ingredients doesn't strip your skin of it's natural oils. Formulated with Organic Algae and Organic Water Mint thoroughly and effectively cleanses and nourishes your skin leaving it feeling refreshed and silky soft. The Hydro Sensation Gel cream* gives intensive moisture to your skin, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth with a youthful radiance and a perfect glow.  Finally, the Very Berry Hand Wash*. The perfect addition, especially during the current coronavirus pandemic. Formulated with a delicious aroma of organic goji berry and organic acai, these moisturising and nourishing ingredients will leave your hands pleasantly soft and smooth

For those wanting to go that extra mile and really push the boat out with a more luxurious DIY hamper, the products I have featured in the photo above could be worth including in your personalised gift. Starting off with the gorgeous Giorgio Armani Si perfume. This scent is chic, sultry, intense and soft at the same time, with deep aromas of fruity and floral notes. Heyland & Whittle is a great brand for those who love room fragrances and scents. I picked up the Clementine & Prosecco fragrance gift set as I think this is such a delightful combination; the fragrance is light and sweet, fruity and sparkling, perfect for a happy and uplifting Mother's Day gift. Again, chocolates is a must have, and these delicious Milk Chocolate selection box from Marks & Spencer looks exquisite. Also from Marks & Spencer is the Normandy Apple sparkling juice, an alternative for those not wanting to add a bottle of champagne, prosecco or wine.

Finishing up with some beauty products to help with the perfect pamper evening on Mother's Day. Soap & Glory are my ultimate favourite brand when it comes to skin and body care. They have such a vast selection of products and ranges that you'll be spoilt for choice. Faces masks scream relaxation to me, and this Miracle Moisture Mask is one of the best ones that I've tried. So refreshing, hydrating and moisturising. Finally, a newer brand I've discovered; Million Dollar Facial. Two of the best selling products that I would recommend would be the Million Dollar Medi+ Hydrating Elixir* and Medi+ Glyco Wash*.

What gifts will you be gifting on Mother's Day? Have you thought of compiling your own hamper? What would you include?

AD - GIFTED | Do you wish for that perfect natural, healthy glow all year round? Then look no further as the Beauty Sleep Elixir Facial Oil* by Beuti Skincare is the perfect skincare product you need to give a radiance boost to your complexion.

Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir Facial Oil

Firstly, the Beauty Sleep Oil comes in a small teardrop-shaped glass bottle with a plastic pump dispenser. The pump is a nice way of dispensing the oil as it's not too fussy or messy. Its oily texture is rich but super lightweight, so it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly. If you hate oils that leave a greasy and sticky feeling on your skin, you’ll love this one!

The oil is a rich looking orange colour, which is quite runny once dispensed. The first thing that hits you is the amazing fragranced scent, a real blend of natural oils, providing such a natural, fresh and earthy aroma. Very spa like! The Beauty Sleep Elixir is a super versatile product that you can choose when to apply it. Whether it be in the morning, to help wake up and brighten skin, or wearing under makeup, to help it go on smoothly and give that subtle glow or at night time before you go to bed to allow you to wake up with plump and hydrated skin.

Beuti Skincare Beauty Sleep Elixir Facial Oil

I've been using the Beauty Sleep Elixir for just over a month now and it really has made such a difference to my skin. I have found that my ideal application would probably be 1 1/2 pumps of the product. This allows me to cover my entire face and have a little bit extra to go over my drier patches of skin. I mainly use my Elixir just before I go to bed, applying a small layer to my freshly cleansed skin and I wake up the next morning with gorgeous glowing and plump looking skin.

I've noticed a change in my skin from the first application, but of course the long term benefits are going to be even more impressive and that's what I've been starting to see over the last month. My skin has become much more hydrated and I have few dry patches. The Elixir has helped to brighten and add glow to my complexion, as well as beginning to even out my skin tone and prevent any redness.

RRP £42.00 for 30ml
